Max Panks speaks about his upcoming 2-3hr workshop where you’ll have the opportunity to paint along with him as he takes you step by step through the stages of his process.
You’ll learn the importance of speed, accurate timing, composition, and spontaneity as we work together using a limited palette of colours to create a landscape that encapsulates the ever so fleeting present moment.
Max will discuss what goes through his mind as he’s choosing his next subject, touching on light and dark, and the importance of compositional adjustments that may need to be made.
Max works very fast, so get ready for a thrilling dance with watercolour as we apply paint intelligently to paper in 3 distinct steps - The first wash, blocking in the darks, and pulling the painting together.
