    Great work on this knife. And good editing om the video. You have inspired me over the years to start making my own knife. And today i have my own workshop with a forge,anvil and a good beltgrinder. Thank you for inspiring me. Greetings from Norway. HJ

    I feel privileged to not only own one of your creations, Osmo, but to have also visited your workshop where this craftsmanship takes place. Always a pleasure to watch your videos from the raw materials assembly to the superbly finished piece of working art. This project is no different, and I like the music.

    The art of craftsmanship continues..... realy do love the colour contrasts. Light and dark woods are my most favourite combination of woods.

    That is a beautiful knife! What type of wood is the more red one? They go nicely together. Thank you for the video. I enjoy seeing the longer tutorial type videos so I can see the process

      I guess you can order the blade kit for Helle from Helle site ? or from Brisa.fi This kit was sent to me from privat person to make the knife. Handle wood material comes from my own storage.

    First and foremost, the knife looks absolutely wonderful! I love how the bubinga and birch look together. Question: what is the purpose (if there is any) for the end rivet to stick out that far out of the back of the handle?

    • @thetopicala
      @thetopicala  4 роки тому +1

      Nahum Yelizarov Thank you! Yes there is. The knife is supposed to get attached with a leather loop to the sheath by this rivet like with the original Helle Harding version has.

    Got a question? What weight of leather do you use for those sheaths. I'm using 8-9 oz. Its probably 3/16 thick.

    • @thetopicala
      @thetopicala  4 роки тому +1

      Marlin .Kerby Thickness is something like 2.5 - 3mm.
