@ScribeCash I heard you mention about the "live "version. I'm 57 so I know of what I speak. *ALWAYS* do the studio version first unless the song got its fame as a "live" song. The reasons for this 1) Often times there are subtleties in the studio version that get lost in a live take and 2) knowing the studio version first gives context to the live version.
This reaction is my favorite, not just of your collection, but of ALL reactions on Your Tube! Why? It's sincere and it's watching one of God's beautiful children just enjoying themself! :-)

This song is definitely!!! in god's favorite playlist.✔👌🎶 I have been listening to this timeless masterpiece in the past 31 years, since i was 12 . This is arguably the best song ever made by humankind. I am very happy to witness the younger generation's reaction to this, it reminds me of the very first time i have heard it. I know that you appreciate it (to say the least), and now you are officially a living LEGEND, welcome...👍
There are so many great songs in music history, but none will probably beat this one to me.Heavenly.” There are two paths you can go on,and there’s still time to change the road you’re on.” I like your term,my dear,of epically legendary.
The best rock song ever is different for everyone . But one thing is forsure. Zeppelin is the best rock band of all time. So so sooo many amazing songs.
This song has a long slow fuse, but when it blows, it BLOWS! It's also like a slow climb uphill in a roller coaster, once you get over the hump....OFF U GO! This may be the best example of a song that starts out one way and by the time it ends is almost a completely different song, in just about every facet, certainly in the decibels. Your head-boppin' and sound effects when you're imitating the instruments cracks me up, and I mean that in the best way possible, because I do it too! LOVE your approach on these videos! Bravo my dear!
In my humble opinion the best song ever. With the perfect blues based and emotional guitar solo. And when John Bonham comes in with the drums it reaches another level. I always loved how he waited to come in. Most drummers would try to add light cymbal work or something throughout the intro but Bonham just lies in wait and when he comes in it is classic.
I've been listening to this song since it came out, the same year I graduated from high school. How many times do you suppose I've listened to this song? Thousands.
“ There are two paths you can go on,but there’s still time to change the road you’re on”….classic. These might be the 4 most talented people ever in a Rock and Roll band…
The transition up through a kind of folk intro, taking in the keys and then bass, can sometimes blind you to the real change in dynamics, which is the speed. It speeds up and takes everyone with it. It is a song that is now so familiar that seeing a new reaction to it like this can make you realise that you've almost stopped hearing it. Robert Plant famously distances himself from it now, seeing it perhaps as naïve, but that's to undersell its underlying charm.
The song was iirc written about a woman going to get her next fix of heroin or her "stairway to heaven" and then encouraging her to find another way "There's still time to change the road you're on" it is without question one of the best songs, rock or otherwise ever! It's cool to see the younger generation discovering this band! Thank you for your reactions to Led Zeppelin.
Almost everyone reacted to the live version...the studio version is a true masterpiece, like most of their studio hits. Glad you did it that way sista. That was a fantastic reaction, like so many you do. Your reactions to Zep and Floyd let me know you really know your stuff. Having fun?!!! Thank you and God bless....
I haven't heard this song in so long. I played it a lot when I was younger and because I didn't want to get sick of it I took it off my playlist. Watching you experience the joy of listening to it was a great addition to hearing it again after a long time.
It builds up as if you're actually climbing a Stairway to Heaven. Yes, this is on most lists as the greatest rock song of all time. The lyrics are written in a way that can be interpreted any way the listener needs them to be. For me, it's a song of hope and optimism. Your reaction was awesome! I can't hear it again for the first time but watching you hear it for the first time was the next best thing!
One of Rock’s most beautiful songs was written from tragedy. Robert Plant’s 3 year old son died from a virus. Robert wrote “All of my Love” and it was a huge hit! The pain and passion in his voice...OMG! And the music production....you have to hear this song.
I've been around for many decades. Heard it all from everywhere, being the rock fan that I am. Stairway To Heaven stands alone in the music universe. It stands in greatness beyond imagination.
It has references to the Lord of the Rings (... when I look to the West... referring to the Undying Lands, and ...dear lady... to Galadriel...smoke rings in the forest, referring to Gandalf), and to neo-paganism (...it's just a sprinkling for the May Queen).
@@knowhere60 Yes! I've noticed no one seems to mention this. I read LOR in HS, which led me to Zep, Stairway & Battle of Evermore. Fell in love with it all.
I like your hair, especially when your head is bopping and rocking! :) Many do indeed consider this to be the best rock song ever. I think it's genius. The way the music builds like you're climbing up the stairs to heavenly sounds all the way through. I like to think of the song as saying that you don't find heaven through material things, but through love and compassion. A simple, powerful message with deep lyrics driven home by perhaps the best band in rock (or at least my favourite band in rock). You really got into this one. Great reaction!
@@michaelnorman2967 60s listen to Buffalo Springfield live and Stephen Stills...Manassas I liked studio a little better but his intros and combining parts of songs was great

This song has the most epic collaboration, as only Zeppelin can create. The structure and the timing are like no other, as this is the music of Rock God's.

Ive heard it probably a couple of thousand times the past 40+ years So it's hard to have that special feeling that i had those first few times i heard it. Zeppelin was my whole world in the 80s and Rush a close second. Still my top 2 today
Right before I watched your reaction I watched the same song reaction by a dad and his young daughter...She was bored to tears and kept looking at her I-Pad...When i was 13 in 1979 I was rocking the long hair and a Led Zeppelin belt buckle and listening to this on vinyl...The hair, the buckle and the vinyl album are all gone but still love Zep to this day...

I read an article the other day not too long ago where Robert Plant stated that he wrote this song in his early 20s and of course that was a different time. He said today he can't relate to that song anymore and he very seldom listens to it. He said, don't get me wrong, Jimmy Page, John Paul Jones and John Bonham really rocked the song. About 20 years ago I was checking out an acoustic guitar in guitar center, I played about the first four bars of this, witch I had learned about 15 years earlier. The sales man gave me such a dirty look I started playing the riff to smoke on the water.

I loved your passion when listening to this. Totally takin by the music. Even though Stairway is the most popular song, I truly feel Rain Song is the greatest Zeppelin song. Give it a listen, you won’t be disappointed. Keep rockin
... based upon whose opinion? Your statement is akin to saying Clapton and Beck or the top guitarists of all time, yet ignore SRV, Page, Duane Allman, BUddy Guy, BB King, Albert King and etc.... "best of all time" is relative to perspective....
Considered along with hotel California the best songs... I love all 3 of those songs but are they my favorite? Not even close. My 3 favorite bands are Steely Dan, Jethro Tull and Tool
When Led Zeppelin's debut album came out in 1964 I was 13 years old. I can clearly remember the neighbor boy Lou running over to me in our back yard (he was a couple of years older than me) and he says "You have to come over and listen to this record!". He was so excited and animated and though we had interacted on occasion as neighbors, because he was older and already in high school we were not really friends. His excitement and the fact that he was even acknowledging me caught me off guard and so we went into his house and to his room and we sat and listened to Led Zeppelins first album. It was a pivotal and, dare I say, life changing moment for me, it literally blew me away. It was a perfect blend of blues and rock by a perfect blend of talented musicians. Music has always been an important part of my life and while I can appreciate a wide variety of genres, I am most moved and influenced by the bands and songs of the greatest era in the history of rock which is in my humble opinion the mid to late 60's to the early to late 70's. Watching your reaction to this track, seeing your ear to ear grin and experiencing your unabashed joy to hearing it brought me back in time to that moment and through you I was able to relive a very happy moment in my life. Thank you so much. Subscribe button engaged!
I saw them in concert in 1970, and they were playing this for the first time. I was blown away. The album didn't come out for 6 months after this concert. I kept trying to explain to my friends how epic this song was. When it finally came out. I played it so many times, I thought I was going to put a hole in the record!

It's been at the top of the list forever. I'm hard pressed to think of a greater one. "Won't Get Fooled Again" is pretty damn awesome too, though. Also I am eternally amazed by the perfection of "More Than a Feeling". There are others which are 10/10 IMO. But is any song actually a better rock song than Stairway? Maybe not!
@@s1d299 " But is any song actually a better rock song than Stairway? Maybe not! " Most assuredly not!! The combination of the great musical journey along with eternally meaningful lyrics that nearly everyone can relate to precludes any and all challengers. That is not to say that aren't MANY other 10 of 10 songs out there but "Stairway" resides in its own space with no room for any others.

Yes, this was considered their most famously requested and played tune on radio stations back when CD’s didn’t exist yet and people were stampeding to buy tickets B4 their concerts sold out. Thanks for pulling the Led out for everyone again and congrats to gaining over 15k subscribers. 💕🙌🏼
@ScribeCash
...... and yes, this is STILL considered the greatest rock song of all time. Ever since it was released.
This song was made way before I was born and in my opinion is still the greatest song ever written/played/sung.
Watching this with you in the moment took me back to being 15 jamming to this when I was s'posed to be asleep. Love watching your reactions. Have you listened to Pink Floyd's Comfortably Numb Live Version from The Pulse album, yet? This is arguably THE BEST rock tune EVER, or at least right up there with this version of STH. PF's live version of Another Brick In The Wall off of Pulse is another good version. But to really appreciate the full affect of Comfy Numb, youtube this live Pulse version and enjoy the full ambiance. Imagine what'd it been like there "seeing" this unfold. PF was arguably THE BEST lightshow live.
The way your face lit up when the drums dropped... ooh more candy!
Epic is right! Stairway is a slow building climax that erupts like a volcano!
And she rode that song the whole way. It practically launched her out of her chair. It was friggin awesome & adorable. This girl gets music.
KASHMIR is a MUST. Stairway is a Journey.
I loved your passion when listening to this. Totally takin by the music. Even though Stairway is the most popular song, I truly feel Rain Song is the greatest Zeppelin song. Give it a listen, you won’t be disappointed.
Keep rockin
Thanks for reminding us how great Led Zep is..... Great Job....thank you.
This song and "Free Bird" are considered the top Rock songs of all time 🎤💪🎸
Not true!
"Stairway", yes .
... based upon whose opinion? Your statement is akin to saying Clapton and Beck or the top guitarists of all time, yet ignore SRV, Page, Duane Allman, BUddy Guy, BB King, Albert King and etc.... "best of all time" is relative to perspective....
Considered along with hotel California the best songs... I love all 3 of those songs but are they my favorite? Not even close. My 3 favorite bands are Steely Dan, Jethro Tull and Tool
Bohemian Rhapsody anyone?
You neeed to hear "Kashmir" by Zeppelin
I saw them in concert in 1970, and they were playing this for the first time. I was blown away. The album didn't come out for 6 months after this concert. I kept trying to explain to my friends how epic this song was. When it finally came out. I played it so many times, I thought I was going to put a hole in the record!
Lol. You were lucky brother. Damn life was beautiful back then.
Led Zeppelin how many more times is good song 👍🏾
Yes that is the one. Also the longest song as well. I love Zeppelin. Always have!! They are the best.
Yes this song was considered the best for years love the reaction keep up the great work
@Anthony Savena
" was considered the best for years ..."
WutchootawkinboutWillis?? What do you mean "was"? Please inform of whichever song has taken its place.
@@steadfastneasy26 True that!!!!! Nothing has taken this epic song place in my humble opinion.
Maybe not!
That's basically what I meant but worded it wrong lack of sleep n many hours working will do that lol

" But is any song actually a better rock song than Stairway? Maybe not!
"
Most assuredly not!! The combination of the great musical journey along with eternally meaningful lyrics that nearly everyone can relate to precludes any and all challengers. That is not to say that aren't MANY other 10 of 10 songs out there but "Stairway" resides in its own space with no room for any others.
The literal joy in your face is why I come to your channel.
Next up, you simply MUST do
SINCE I'VE BEEN LOVING YOU!!!
Studio version, then the live version from Madison Square Garden, 1973!!!
Hey girl. there may still be hope for our planet - as long as young ones like you can really feel what TRUE MUSIC is!!! I was backstage in the 70's at 4 of their shows. even as an old dude now.....I STILL ROCK HARD. please keep this up !!!!!
Do "Good Times Bad Times" by Led Zeppelin, it's their first song on their first album and it's epic!!
Yes!!
Ha, I said the Exact same thing to her on a Zep tune the other day.
“ There are two paths you can go by...”This is the greatest song of all time...period.A true journey.
Your hair was even rocking out😀❗
Live in 73 at Madison Square Garden...the best amazing version!!! Yes the greatest rock song ever...by the greatest band of all time!
Robert Plant said this song means something different everytime he sings the song.
If the Golden God says so, it must be true.
Bless you for not interrupting one of the BEST rock songs ever . Kudos to you young lady.
Greatest Rock and Roll Song Ever!!!!!!
Any top 100 rock artists list you will ever see will always have Zeppelin has number 1. No exceptions.
You are my new favorite reactor!❤️
That means a lot to me
I'm 65 and a fan of your channel. Keep up with the great songs i grew up with.
A highly underrated some by Led Zep is Hey, hey, what can I do. It is a "B" side song but a great one
Great song but never released on an album. It was played a lot on radio. It wasn't until the box set release in 1990 that is was included.
One of the greatest guitar solos in music history.
Id have to agree. And as a fan of this song (Its nearly perfect) I cannot listen to the live version of it. The quiet calm before the storm vibe is not the same.
“Do you remember laughter?!”
Yep live version 73
Yeah, but, unfortunately, the song always remains the same.
I always hated when he said that in the live version. Studio version is awesome !!!👍
Tazzz lol me too.
You HAVE to see - HEART - Stairway to Heaven (tribute to Led Zeppelin). Ann and Nancy Wilson, Rock Goddess’s. Ann is the ONLY artist that can sing Robert Plant! The production will blow you away and seeing Robert cry will tear at your ❤️.... A Must
Been telling you about Heart.
Concur.
As Led Zeppelin watches from the audience
hEart's version is overly dramatic and awful.
@@bishlap They disagree. If you can make Robert Plant tear up, you hit the mark.
Hearts rendition is amazing...
