If I travel to Japan, I'll definitely bring this back as a souvenir.
Beautiful stuff. I used to collect sake cup and bottle sets when I was younger, after seeing this it would be worthwhile to pull a set out again for New Year's celebration. The glazing part is always fascinating, it goes on so thick but then the ceramics are fired and the paint design comes through just fine. The shot of the furnace is beautiful too, it is also a good reminder that there's an element of danger to the work.
