Hahaha thanks 🙏🏻 we’d actually forgotten the proper measure for that trip. 🤦♂️ But this was up around Mackay, at a place called Murray creek. I typically crab down here around South East Queensland. Was a great trip though.
Great crabbing session! I have seen some of the biggest mud crabs caught out of Stanage Bay central QLD. They easily cover the larger dimension XXXX stubby carton box!!
i catch a ton of big ones in the Gold Coast canals, considerably more than when i go further out to remote areas, probably because of all the fishing waste and stuff feeding them
I love watching you crab. Wish I could eat with you. LOL I have a question for you. Why do you crab with no shoes? I would be afraid that a crab would bite my foot.
We have done in the past, but I’ve taken the website down. I do still have some left over stock though. If you’re interested just hit me up over on instagram.
Do y'all watch other U-Tubers that are making crabing videos 90% of them do catch clean and cook's because most of us viewers don't have the privilege of catching them much less eating them and plus your videos will get more likes and subscribes
Totally understand where you’re coming from, I’ll keep this comment in mind for a future video. Just don’t normally do a catch and cook as majority of my viewers aren’t that interested. I have done a previous video on my channel where I actually cook a crab in beer. But thank you for your comment. 🙏🏻
An affectionate name for a crab that has no meat in it and a soft shell 😂 you can still keep them as long as they’re legal, but they’re not worth it. There’s no meat in them to enjoy sadly.
@@BrisVegasFishing thank for the reply ! I was wonder cause soft shell FL blue crab are so special they grapped Saran wrapped in the lady that takes all the air out of the wrap their Frozen alive for restaurants
@@denigong9708we also get sand crabs (blue swimmers) similar to what you get. Our regulations for them are 11.5cm across the carapace at the second spikes. Males only. It's been awhile since I've left a comment and you're wrong the U-Tubers that crab and fish who show in details how they cooking them up in some good recipes are getting popular every day and your videos are good but look at the size crab you catching you're going to eat them that's the whole reason you're catching them so that shows be one of the highlights of any crabing or fishing, shrimping video u will be surprised at how popular you'll become,im asking for cooking and eating videos
You need to get yourself a proper crab measuring tool they are far simpler than the ruler. Boy those crabs have very small Claws ?? What part of North Qld are you ?
You’ll get more crabs 🦀 if you don’t tip old bait out right beside your pot🤦♂️🤦♂️ put it in a bucket and tip it out in the middle of the main channel
@@matthewmorshead2594 yeah I’ve never done it but I’ve heard of people tying a stingray (dead) to the base of mangroves and an old timer trick was a kero soaked rag
I eat my words about the claws- Bloody great crabbing day - cheers Denise- Brisbane

In my country, it is called rock crab.
Disitu memang habitatnya kepiting bakau, Australia utara tempat yg sangat bagus untuk berpetualang. 👍
Greetings from the BIG SKY. Nice crab, I'd bet that critter could fetch a high price around here.
Definitely prize worthy crab. I’d be willing to bet a lot of people would pay top dollar 👌

Thanks so much for the support! ❤️
You don’t see any big crabs these days unless you go remote and the big ones won’t go in small traps like these, nice feed here..
Not always a common site anymore. They definitely have a hard time getting through the openings. Got a bit lucky there.

It’s good fun. Love the thrill of it, plus if you wear shoes they’re just gonna get dirty anyway. 😅 they tasted so sweet
Nice work.
Cheers mate 🤙
Peach growing on tree ghost pepper mint leafs orange pepper taste like ghost pepper gum red hot
I didn’t think you were aloud to keep the fish that you caught in a pot as it is clast as a fish trap so it should go back
I’ve looked it up in the past and found no legislation on it, so we just follow the basic size and possession limits.
It's a crab pot, legal each person can set 4 each, in qld
Are use still in Mackay guys
Fly in fly out. Be back up there in the next week or so 👌

Berapa harga pasaran disitu yg ukuran 1 ekor 1 kg, kalau harga di desa atau harga di kampung saya 1 kg 1 ekor 100000 rupiah.
I don’t know the dollar conversion but holiday prices are usually $50/kg or more.

You would have plenty of string if you tied them properly. Why didn't you use a proper measure.
