Hey Griff & family
So sorry for your loss. There’s hardly one of us who hasn’t been there. When I log out of photos of my dog I swear I can smell or smell. Best of luck to you and better days will come. Thanks for all you’ve given me musically in these past six years.

RIP to your very good dawggie "Fender" (tears)
Just like the quarterback and wide receiver get all the attention, they keys--Amazing--and the guitar--Amazing--take front and center. But the Whole Team made it work. This was a good example of holding back and building in soloing. Great Job from man I like to think of as my instructor and coach. Stay Well All. Peace.
Great tribute to "Fender". So sorry for your loss. We lost our Abby, also a golden retriever, several years ago. Know the feeling of rain falling down.
never gets easy to put your best friend down, but the many great times we have with them while they are here! makes for great days of pleasure and laughter,my prayers my friend!
So awesome to see you guys, and what an amazing performance! Proud to call Griff my teacher, and feel so happy to have played with Griff, Chris and Mark. And Ty, very cool.
Sorry for your loss. We also had a Fender and I swear that for a long time I could still see him out of the corner of my eye. Sometime after we adopted his niece. Her name is Gibson. Both dogs showed character like their namesakes. He had attitude and she is really smooth. May the good memories stay with you and your family.
Hi Griff - I'm very sorry to hear about Fender. We have a golden retriever and know how much a part of your lives they are. I hope you and your family think about the happy memories you have with him. And thanks for the years of terrific lessons.
Proud to be a longtime student of this ace Bluesman - and still only about 15 light years to catch up with him!
Thank you for sharing. R.I.P. Fender.
Thanks to you and the band, Griff. I enjoyed the performance. I love dogs, and have lost some over time. I feel for your loss. All Best Wishes.
I am so sorry to hear about your loss. It's so sad. May Fender rest in peace.
I like what I see and hear it's just Great Great Love it Bless Blessup Blessup
Love that lead vocal guy. Blessings and Shalom to you and your families.
Was it 30years ago i heard this groovy song from Steve Ray Vaughan ?… Nice it is again in the "running" and cherish this ! thanks for sharing
I first heard this song about 50 years ago by the great blues harp man, Sonny Boy Williamson II, aka Alex 'Rice' Miller. A great old blues song.
So so sorry to hear of your loss, Hamlin family. The furry ones are as much family as the kids. We had exactly the same situation about a year ago. We try to remember the happy times and funny traits of our Sasha which keeps her memory alive and helps push aside the sadness of her passing. Wishing you and yours all the best. And what an awesome performance to remember Fender! As Jake indicated, it was awesome to share the stage briefly with you all a few years back. Truly one of the highlights of my life. Really. Peace out.
Jawsome! and Excellent across the board! All of you! ;o)
Sorry to hear of the loss of Fender Griff. We lost our pooch of 14 years last May. You miss them so. Fitting tribute - brilliant playing all round.
Amazing. *We really dig it* That's exactly our taste in music. You're video was recommended to us ... A good algorithm ^^ of YT. Great job, every note is perfect, very good mixed. Sending you love, peace and music from Germany.
Oh, man. My tears are rolling down my cheeks and dripping on my chest. We are all connected and my tears join yours in grief. You are not alone and we are not alone in the groove of this heart felt tribute to such an ironically named dog. May peace and serenity surround you all with sweet, vivid memories.
Ahhhh… the pandemic session. That was refreshing to hear then. And now. Thx Teach!
RIP..Fender in a peaceful doggy's heaven, you will always hear some good music
Great sounding blues, lots of feeling!
good music and I like it
Wicked Keys Man! Hang onto him. (Not to minimize the others, please). As always, Griff never disappoints. Thanks for sharing your skills and music.
Great musicians indeed! 🙂
Awesome as always Griff. Sorry for your loss. Always tough to say goodbye to our furry four legged family members.
Great job sounds very good well done thanks 😊🌟🌟🌟🌟
great sound. good job all.
Really great stuff. Thanks Griff
Everytime I see one of your YT videos, I'm completely blown away. Griff has amazing control and feeling both with his guitar and his vocals. The rhythm section is rock solid and your keyboard player is an absolute monster. After hearing this, I'm not sure whether to keep on practicing or just give up altogether. Those who say 'them that can't do teach' haven't heard Griff Hamlin play.
Hey Steve. Can't thank you enough for this comment and for taking the time to listen. The guys and I had a blast recording this one and I'm glad you enjoyed it. Again - really appreciate it. Griff.
Excellent! So much talent!
Our condolences to you and your family, Griff. We lost our Border Collie, Laddie, several years ago, and I miss him every single day!
Lost my golden 'arthur ' years ago, my 5th child, still miss him, and when I die, I want my dog back.
OMG. Da Blues for sure. So sweet.
Was looking for a soulful jam track to throw down on some slide with Pearl, and this appeared. You guys could make a good living putting jam tracks on here! LOL...
Tight y'all, just tight!
Prayers for you and your family Griff. RIP Fender.
Say... that's some mighty fine pickin' and a-singin', right there!
Wooooweeee So good. Many thanks.
I could sit and listen to that all day and all night, bro!

R.I.P "Fender".... i feel your loss....
Hey that was a lot of fun guys :)
PS: A hot 35 - 45 year old front lady would put you guys on the map and compliment your age group.
Sorry for your big loss ,I have gone through this my self 1 week ago and it is low down blue for sure.
Sorry about Fender our pets are always like Family Great music as always
Griff, I’m very sorry to hear about Fender. They are members of our family, and it hurts to have to say goodbye. Tasty chops, tho. Love Texas!
Great job on the vocals, dude...and an act of kindness for Fender...
Sweet,..............
Sorry to hear about Fender, If I closed my eyes I'd swear I was listening to Clapton, Great job.
😎Sorry to here about your dog. I know they are part of your family and it is hard loosing and old friend. Keep the faith and sing the blues. For one day we will all be together again. 😎 peace brother and may God be with you.😎🎸🎶🎶
Great keyboardist! Hope he makes a BGU keyboard course one day.
Awesome! I want this one on my playlist for sure! How can I get it?
Gold top
All dogs go to heaven…
This is why I'm a student of his
Sorry about your dog! I’ve had to put some great ones to sleep over the years and it’s never easy! Losing a family member never is!
Really interested to know more about that keyboard.
You mean the keyboard player? Or the keyboard itself? Assuming you mean Ty Bailie - our phenomenal friend and member of the band. If you put his name into a google search, you can find out a bunch of cool things about him. Just an incredible player, human being, etc. We're beyond lucky to have him in the band for many years now. His latest claim to fame is that he's been touring with Katy Perry for 4 years (might be 3...can't remember exactly). His passion for playing is contagious, and he and Griff make the PERFECT pair on stage. Thanks for listening!
Great vid. Really enjoyed watching and would like to see more as in, lots more [ I'm in the UK ] been meaning to ask you, considering you've been playing and teaching for so long, what set's you apart from the Eric Clapton's / Joe Bonamassa etc. of this world ..?
Mostly the number of zeros in my paycheck compared to theirs :)
Nah, seriously, I really don't know how to answer that. I've learned a lot from so many guitar players over the years and at the end it makes me... me.
As Mark likes to say, no matter what I play it always ends up sounding like me.
Thks for the time to reply - appreciated. I get your ' drift ' wife, kids, dogs, travel, pressure and groupies etc. lol just a shame that those of us across ' the pond ' [UK ] don't have chance to see you and the band play. Can I not appeal to your conscience .. lol .. to make some vids of you and the band at some gigs ..? not the you tube stuff .. it might make you a few extra bucks ..? Might even want to incl. the sexy Sax player too ...lol .. [ yes, I know who she is .. ] thks ..Brother in Arms
You can really make that Les Paul sound like a Strat :) In the middle position!
The shread Griff impressive playing add a shot and whatever is legal .
Can you have a word with the bass player about shoes and socks next time - only Paul McCartney can get away with that :-) In all seriousness though, I really enjoyed this, would love to see more
Hobbits also get away with no shoes but as the bassist is not a hobbit or Sir Paul then shoes are in order - snake skin cuban heel boots perhaps?
dufus Shocking!
Thanks! Kinda funny....our bass player, who has been playing with Griff for 20 years, has always played barefoot. Usually for comfort, but mostly because he enjoys feeling the rumble. :) He actually owns INCREDIBLE boots, and other shoes that are really, really nice. (too nice for a bass player, LOL!) But removes them promptly at the start of the gig. When we play certain clubs, of course he wears shoes. But if he had his choice, he'd be barefoot 24/7. Thanks for listening! :) - Laura
Fitting tribute...until we meet all of our beloved companions at the "Rainbow Bridge".
Amazing band, great sound all around. The Keyboard would sound even more fantastic if it was a piano, rather than an organ. JMHO.
dogs are the best they give all for us but are only hear for a short wile rip fender
!
Hi The Band ,give me the Blues¬¬Mw
Hey Griff you want ta loan me that Les Paul? I'll give it right back🤥
Nice but it feels a bit over rehearsed
Women tone!!!
What is women tone? 🤣🤣🤣
