I appreciate your thoughts at the end about the tone of the story because it's something a lot of people miss, and it makes discussion around the game tricky at times. It's so rare to find a game with serious, adult themes that none the less strives to be hopeful in tone. I think so often the ideas of complexity, flawed characters, and serious real-world problems are seen as inherently the exclusive domain of dark, despairing stories that it takes away from our ability to tell stories about those things with a more optimistic outlook. BA really does tell one of my favorite stories in all media, I hope you end up enjoying the rest as much as I did!
I actually quite like the way Blue Archive handles such topics. It's refreshing since most, as you say, tend to go down a dark tone when they do, instead of a lighter, optimistic way. While I do like the dark stories, sometimes, it can be quite exhausting to consume as a player, so Blue Archive is like an oasis for me in some ways. As you can tell, I quite enjoy the game~ haha Can't wait to release the rest of the VODs in the coming days for everyone!
Btw, there’s a mistranslation with Iori’s line in this part of the chapter that the anime shows more clearly. We don’t kiss her shoe, we… lick her foot 😂. Which better explains why hina gets so red 😭sensei is based as hell. Now onto Vol 2!

That's true. And when I think about it, if someone has power but doesn't fear losing it as in they don't care if they lose their power, then I wonder if such a person would be able to fully utilize their power to the fullest, whether it's for the greater good or not. It's quite an interesting topic to delve into with everyone!
Nice ending to the first part of the Abydos arc. In the 2nd arc, there's gonna be way more budget put into the story that probably rivals the anime. Though, you will have to finish reading Vol.F first.

@@Trailblazer_Ririna looks like devs was quite unpleased with how anime adaptation was done, so they decided to show how proper BA fights should look like.
so in the last story chapters (released just today on jp) we have super-high-quality action cut scenes, some with chibis and one actual 1-minute anime.
@@lester2665 I doubt that's what really happened. the BA devs were already making steps to improving the quality well before the anime even took off.
Vol 5 was a notably good example with the global server had a L2D played DURING THE MAIN STORY. Yes, an L2D, something usualy relegated to character bond stories.

You know funny thing is that when Sensei begged Iori to let him go meet Hina the global version actually dumbed down to her telling Sensei to kiss her feet but in the original Jp, Kr version it is actually Iori tell Sensei to lick her feet to which Sensei did in which later on get adapted for the anime version XD. Also I heard the Blu-Ray version of the BA anime they give an extra scene of Sensei licking and gobbling Iori's toe XD

That might have been the best part of this Volume. It really felt like we were a major part of the story and that if we mess up, then there would be dire consequences in some ways. Plus, the BGM was 🔥🔥🔥
