Do you offer plans or kits so that I can build my own in order to save a little money? I heard about you from Sailing Zingaro.

How does it go in a chop? These shots are all flat water. At what wave height would it start getting swamped?

Sorry for the delay in the reply !
Have you watched all the videos? Not all are in flat water. It goes just fine on the chop - 270 8-hp is rough, Roam's last minutes of the video on the OC350 is rough as.
It is a hard composite tender with a flat bottom for efficiency so yes you will hear it more and it won't be as bouncy as on an inflatable for instance. But performance wise it will go just fine. Always drive to the conditions. If its rough, slow down. This is not a speed boat, it is a tender. Speed, adverse conditions and bad seamanship do not go well together. I am unsure what sea conditions you tend to take your tenders on, but on normal conditions this is a much drier ride than any other tender on the market. If you have large waves, well don't go out but if you must, once again drive to the conditions, I see zero reason for you to be swamped with a wave unless your surfing with your tender, and if this what you are doing, treat the tender like a surf board and stay with the wave rather try and plough into the wave ahead. Preferably don't do it. The tender is unsinkable. It will fill with water, it will not sink. The entire rubrail is a very large life jacket for the tender as well as all the buoyancy on the build itself.

@@octenders Thanks for you reply! Honestly was just checking that should I need it in rough weather I could use it in rough weather

@@MontyD Absolutely. Rough is a condition we all encounter while offshore cruising or even caught up on storm in an anchorage. You can do rough any time (just always drive to the conditions - sorry I sound like a broken record...) it is never fun though! A good bailer (ours is a cut of milk bottle they have a great handle!) and a sponge are great accessories to have on board at all times.

Is there a sail accessory available? I see at the 1:09 mark that it's been converted to sail.

Hi Jack, yes we have produced about 7 sailing tenders but are now redesigning some components and hope we will have it available again second half of 2021. You can email us and request to get on the information list. As soon as I get any news people on the list will be the first to be informed. Thanks!
