Sometimes I too feel like aim assist is not working. Then I realize it’s one of two things. Either I’m off my game and just missing, or my target is being very evasive and hard to hit compared to the folks that I played against the game before. Skill based damage does not exist, that has been debunked. Bad connection due to high levels of skill certainly exists though, but that usually only causes high latency, not your bullets literally going through people without doing damage although lag spikes certainly do happen at times and can be frustrating

Idk man I feel like I know how to manipulate aim assist with my left stick pretty well, I just think the amount of aim assist has more to do with balancing out the game in competetive, to make the gameplays more even. when I'm playing poorly or it's my first time on in a while my aim assist is STICKY STICKY STICKY. When I'm playing well it's almost like I have reverse aim assist, each bullet I shoot my assist over-corrects for me, leading me to miss shots. I've tried everything from burst firing to centering. I really do feel like a pro some days when my aim assist is on, and other days I feel like a gold rank. The game does this on purpose, to keep players such as myself playing. This is the reason I have so many gameplays on my channel where I'm smacking higher ranks, you can sometimes catch the moment when they turn my aim assist off yet I still end up beating higher ranks because my game knowledge/iq is better, but other times you'll see me lose even tho I'm the better player and it shows, and that's just mid game adjustments

Not saying, that noobs dont get more aa and good players less, I think its entirely possible, but most of the kills where you complain that killing them took too long are a skill issue buddy- slow it down to 0.25 speed and be honest with yourself. U need more bullets in the legs than in the torso and even less in the head + there are differences in damage between close/mid/long range. Also- the diamonds u say u destroy are most likely in your same skill rating- delve into hpr(hidden personal rating) which is reevaluated based on the average of your past 15 games or so. Thats the main factor which determines how much sr u get and who you get matched up with. Therefore you can meet diamonds which prob have 4 stacked every game, so they tend to win more yet individually are worse than u who seems to be hardstuck in gold. Id advise u to go watch some gameplay of dashy or scrap to see what a clean shot looks like, they beam ppl cause they rarely miss- based on this theory they would need twice the amount of bullets per kill but they dont. Do freak accidents happen where the server really is bs and ur hits are not registering? yes but thats pretty rare unless ur con is ass. So take a look in the mirror and be honest, ur not him yet for a reason.
Go watch my other vids before you judge my shot, I have spent hours shooting bots (in the past) and I know how to shoot strait. In some vids I don't miss a shot, in others, it looks like my aim assist is turned off. I get it, people have good and bad days, but I feel the game adjusts aim assist in lower ranked lobbies to average out gameplay. This is for diamonds and lower, the game obviously take this out in the higher ranked lobbies because once people get good enough, they notice this stuff more. Maybe It's also because I play on 20/20 sensitivity, so it's more obvious when the game is "giving" me free shots I don't deserve (locking my aim on to the target) and when the game is reversing that effect (I'm shooting bullets that I know should connect, yet for some reason I miss them by a hair).

I'll go back and see my bullets go through people, or hit the edge of their character and not register. yet in other games I've seen my literally move with the enemy, purely from aim assist. No work or movement on my end. Trust me, shit gets turned off and on and if you were comfortable with 20/20, it would be easier to notice. It's almost as if latency is applied directly to my aim assist and my aimer is moving 1 step behind the enemy on purpose, when I'm not even moving that direction, so the aim assist actually sometimes reverses it's effect and makes my shots LESS ACCURATE than they should me.

While I am fully convinced that skill based hit reg is a thing, skill based damage is more on the fence for me and all videos like this do is make the argument seem less valid, because all the issues you are having in this video are because of you. You're a gold player, it 100% shows in the way you move, shoot and look around, and that's why you're stuck.

Nah it’s not that. Ive been in higher ranked lobbies, i play just fine. The game has a built in system that gets you close to the next rank then stacks stuff against you, to get you to play more. And when skill based lobbies aren’t enough to hold you back, that’s when midgame adjustments kick in. The aim stuff is wayyy mor noticeable on 20/20 sense if you’re used to it

I am already level 50 gold but even early on when I was ranking up I never saw anyone my level. Whatever I am it’s always 2 ranks higher, whatever it takes to keep me at a 1(ish) kdr. I have some friends who are actual golds and they wont play with me because my lobbies are too cracked and I’m the only one who gets kills😂 i mean I get 150-200sr per game when i win, then i go 5 games against smurfs and ex diamonds. This is not “gold” ranked stuff, your system is broken😂
Yeah sorry bro but this isn't evidence of anything. You're playing in low elo lobbies and your aim isn't all that good. You missed half your shots you didn't get skill based damage. If you start playing in crim or iri lobbies to hell with it even diamond lobbies you will realize that demon software has been toned down a lot in this game. You will get the occasional break in aim assist or random packet bursts but you aren't getting damage/hit register debuffs like you did in mw2. The way mw3 seems to punish you for doing well is by matching you against cheaters, giving you terrible teammates or just putting you in lobbies with 90-120 ping to make sure you lose a game when you're on a win streak.
The more I play, the more I notice it. I have had my aim legitimately follow people around when I am doing bad, and when I am doing good I have missed shots that shouldn't have missed, I watch it back and my bullet will go between someone's chin and shoulder or something like that, or I'll should the outlines of targets and just nothing registers. In those situations I know aim assist makes a difference and because I play on 20/20, it's easy to notice when it is hella strong and when it is turned off. People who play on 6/6 probably don't notice it at all
this is funny, you're centering is awful and you shoot people in the lower body and legs alot. those have far less damage values therefor taking longer to kill.
you watch one video and you act like you know me. I was not trying my "hardest" to have perfect centering, nor should I have to at the GOLD level XD. I have had games where I completely beam people across the map, and if my aim assist were that strong every game I would be a pro ong, my point in this video is it adjusts throughout different games. If you play on higher sensitivity it's easier to notice, if you play on 6/6 or something you probably cannot notice this difference because you don't need any aim assist on that sensitivity except for longrange
Also once you get over a certain "hump" the game stops doing it as much, hence why pro players don't notice this. The problem effects the "middle class" of cod players moreso, to keep them grinding, to keep them in low ranks and the pros since they are already at the top will act like nothing is happening. I have carried people to diamond rank, diong better than them every game, then once they hit diamond they started getting easier kills, shooting through walls, they just got cracked, almost as if the game just decided they were on a new level now because they broke that rank barrier. I've played in higher ranked lobbies on friends accounts, I know how easy it is, it's not much different than what I'm used to because it is actually easier to hit my shots, so 20/20 sensitivity is an advantage cause I have better movement than most crims/iri's (once I actually get equal aim assist that is). If you play the game enough, you'd notice it's rigged as all hell

Note: I stopped watching after the first kill. Your shots were way off, all lower body and near-outside hit box. No head or upper chest. If anything, your lucky you killed him as quickly as you did. Your a platinum player, if anyone is going to be experiencing "skill based damage" it's not you (no offense). I am iridescent in ranked multiplayer and have yet to see any evidence of skill based damage from anyone. What I have seen is hit reg problems and server side latency issues which effect everyone, not just the most skilled players in a lobby. Get good.
They tone it down in higher ranked lobbies, I have friends who got better rank and then subsequently got stronger aim assist, which helped them get BACK to those ranks after they already achieved it. I mean I dont know how you can be like "get better" when my aim is literally on them, Im moving towards their upper hit reg, and recoil/control/flinch completely throws it off with no aim assist adjusting it back. I have had games where I am literally given free shots (sticky aim assist) and I have had games where I am shooting people yet my bullets for some reason go AROUND the player. shit is most definitely rigged in the gold-diamond ranges and gets toned down at the more competitive crim/iri lobbies, because people are more in tune with the game at those levels and will notice it more. That is why you don't notice it as much, you have already gotten over that hump (if you are in fact an iri, your channel proves nothing)
also from your pov it looks like my aimer isn't on target because you can't actually see my movements. If you watch my other vids you could see that some games I have God Like aim and I dont miss a shot (usually when I'm going against people ranked higher than me), and other games it looks like I dont even know how to shoot. While I am fully convinced that skill based hit reg is a thing, skill based damage is more on the fence for me and all videos like this do is make the argument seem less valid, because all the issues you are having in this video are because of you. You're a gold player, it 100% shows in the way you move, shoot and look around, and that's why you're stuck.

Nah it’s not that. Ive been in higher ranked lobbies, i play just fine. The game has a built in system that gets you close to the next rank then stacks stuff against you, to get you to play more. And when skill based lobbies aren’t enough to hold you back, that’s when midgame adjustments kick in. The aim stuff is wayyy mor noticeable on 20/20 sense if you’re used to it

I mean I don’t need a character skin to tell me I’m a diamond or a crimson, when I’m constantly beating diamonds and ex crims/iri’s. I am already level 50 gold but even early on when I was ranking up I never saw anyone my level. Whatever I am it’s always 2 ranks higher, whatever it takes to keep me at a 1(ish) kdr. I have some friends who are actual golds and they wont play with me because my lobbies are too cracked and I’m the only one who gets kills😂 i mean I get 150-200sr per game when i win, then i go 5 games against smurfs and ex diamonds. This is not “gold” ranked stuff, your system is broken😂
Yeah sorry bro but this isn't evidence of anything. You're playing in low elo lobbies and your aim isn't all that good. You missed half your shots you didn't get skill based damage. If you start playing in crim or iri lobbies to hell with it even diamond lobbies you will realize that demon software has been toned down a lot in this game. You will get the occasional break in aim assist or random packet bursts but you aren't getting damage/hit register debuffs like you did in mw2.
The way mw3 seems to punish you for doing well is by matching you against cheaters, giving you terrible teammates or just putting you in lobbies with 90-120 ping to make sure you lose a game when you're on a win streak.
The more I play, the more I notice it. I have had my aim legitimately follow people around when I am doing bad, and when I am doing good I have missed shots that shouldn't have missed, I watch it back and my bullet will go between someone's chin and shoulder or something like that, or I'll should the outlines of targets and just nothing registers. In those situations I know aim assist makes a difference and because I play on 20/20, it's easy to notice when it is hella strong and when it is turned off. People who play on 6/6 probably don't notice it at all
this is funny, you're centering is awful and you shoot people in the lower body and legs alot. those have far less damage values therefor taking longer to kill.
you watch one video and you act like you know me. I was not trying my "hardest" to have perfect centering, nor should I have to at the GOLD level XD. I have had games where I completely beam people across the map, and if my aim assist were that strong every game I would be a pro ong, my point in this video is it adjusts throughout different games. If you play on higher sensitivity it's easier to notice, if you play on 6/6 or something you probably cannot notice this difference because you don't need any aim assist on that sensitivity except for longrange
Also once you get over a certain "hump" the game stops doing it as much, hence why pro players don't notice this. The problem effects the "middle class" of cod players moreso, to keep them grinding, to keep them in low ranks and the pros since they are already at the top will act like nothing is happening. I have carried people to diamond rank, diong better than them every game, then once they hit diamond they started getting easier kills, shooting through walls, they just got cracked, almost as if the game just decided they were on a new level now because they broke that rank barrier. I've played in higher ranked lobbies on friends accounts, I know how easy it is, it's not much different than what I'm used to because it is actually easier to hit my shots, so 20/20 sensitivity is an advantage cause I have better movement than most crims/iri's (once I actually get equal aim assist that is). If you play the game enough, you'd notice it's rigged as all hell

Note: I stopped watching after the first kill. Your shots were way off, all lower body and near-outside hit box. No head or upper chest. If anything, your lucky you killed him as quickly as you did. Your a platinum player, if anyone is going to be experiencing "skill based damage" it's not you (no offense). I am iridescent in ranked multiplayer and have yet to see any evidence of skill based damage from anyone. What I have seen is hit reg problems and server side latency issues which effect everyone, not just the most skilled players in a lobby. Get good.

They tone it down in higher ranked lobbies, I have friends who got better rank and then subsequently got stronger aim assist, which helped them get BACK to those ranks after they already achieved it. I mean I dont know how you can be like "get better" when my aim is literally on them, Im moving towards their upper hit reg, and recoil/control/flinch completely throws it off with no aim assist adjusting it back. I have had games where I am literally given free shots (sticky aim assist) and I have had games where I am shooting people yet my bullets for some reason go AROUND the player. shit is most definitely rigged in the gold-diamond ranges and gets toned down at the more competitive crim/iri lobbies, because people are more in tune with the game at those levels and will notice it more. That is why you don't notice it as much, you have already gotten over that hump (if you are in fact an iri, your channel proves nothing)
also from your pov it looks like my aimer isn't on target because you can't actually see my movements. If you watch my other vids you could see that some games I have God Like aim and I dont miss a shot (usually when I'm going against people ranked higher than me), and other games it looks like I dont even know how to shoot. Do you really think the game isnt helping me against these higher ranked players and hurting me when I go against my own rank? Or... Is gold in fact better than diamond? cause what ur saying just doesnt add up, and unlike you, I have vids on my channel to prove everything I'm talking about
