The rotator cuff muscles are perhaps the most important members of the muscles of the shoulder joint, and are essential to the healthy functioning of the glenohumeral joint. They are a set of four muscles that run from the scapula to the humerus. This group of muscles may also be referred to as the SITS muscles: the supraspinatus, infraspinatus, teres minor, and subscapularis.
Many other muscles act upon the glenohumeral joint. Here are some examples, arranged by order of their associated function:
Flexion - Pectoralis major, deltoid (Prime movers), Coracobrachialis, biceps brachii (Accessory muscles)
Extension- Deltoid (Prime mover), Teres major, latissimus dorsi , long head of biceps brachii (Accessory muscles)
Abduction- Deltoid (Prime mover), Supraspinatus (Accessory muscles)
Adduction- Pectoralis major, latissimius dorsi (Prime movers), Teres major, long head of triceps brachii (Accessory muscles)
Medial Rotation- Subscapularis (Prime mover), Pectoralis major, deltoid, latissimus dorsi, teres major (Accessory muscles)
Lateral Rotation- Infraspinatus (Prime mover), Teres major, deltoid (Accessory muscles)

this video is good but it can be more interesting if you describe all movements in shoulder joint like flexion, extension, adduction, abduction, medial and lateral rotation and which muscle is performing these movements

I have a winged scapula. Doctors have said you cannot dislocate your scapula, according to this video the ladomus Dorsey it's supposed to go over the tip of the scapula to keep it close to the rib cage. Obviously my scapula is not under the ladomus Dorsey . Is there any way to relocate the scapula back under the ladomus Dorsey? I did have an injury where I thrust my arm over the car seat to look behind the wall backing up oh, but I forgot to unhitch my shoulder strap before doing so. It was one of them old 1972 Ford Mavericks before they had the flexible shoulder strap. The seat belt shoulder strap was fixed solid in place. I heard a loud pop when I trust my arm over the seat to look behind me, to backup my car.

I had a winged scapula aswell. To be honest best thing you can do is find good physio who shows proper exercises to fix it. 1 exercise that worked for me was lying on the floor, retract my should blades, push them down and keep chin tucked into my chest. Hold for 10 seconds and repeat this exercise for 3 sets of 10 reps of however many you can do. Tough exercise by the way but it does work.
