Sorry about that. Don’t use the salicylic cleanser everyday. Or better still, get another mild cleanser for everyday use. Or you can just stop using the products you feel caused you to break out.

I wash my face with simple age resisting facial wash and put on simple light moisturiser in the morning. Same thing at night but i just add the salicylic acid serum in between. Do i need to modify anything? I have acne on my facd and black spots all over
Don’t use the salicylic acid everyday. Use 3 times daily to avoid irritation. Also get a good niacinamide serum with 10-15% niacinamide. You can use the niacinamide everyday. Note that this is just for your acne. My next video would be on how I got rid of my dark spots. So watch out for that. Thank you❤️

But big ones with white head kept popping up. Anyway, the face facts salicylic acid that I'm using contains niacinamide. So do I still need to get niacinamide?

Since you’re sure it’s the scrub you used on your face. Just stop using it. Your face will clear once you stop. Then maybe you can start using a chemical exfoliant instead of scrubs

I use my cleanser morning and night. It’s safe since it’s a wash off product. I use my niacinamide at night. Although there’s nothing wrong in using morning and night. It’s not too much exfoliation. I use it just 3 times weekly

Very true. I forgot to mention the purging part. I purged when I first used salicylic acid. Purging is not a bad thing. It’s a sign the product is working. It’s usually temporary . That’s why pairing salicylic acid with niacinamide is good. It will help soothe skin and reduce irritation. Also , make sure you’re not using salicylic acid everyday . 2-3 times weekly is enough and follow up with a good moisturizer. Hope this helps❤️
You can use something with adapalene instead of salicylic acid. Adapalene works for acne on sensitive skin. Or use salicylic acid in really small concentration.

Clean and clear cleanser with 2% salicylic acid . It works for both white heads and black heads

Niacinamide alone doesn’t really fade dark spots. Look out for ingredients like alpha arbutin, kojic acid, vit c, glycolic acid

I don’t know what those creams are. But avoid using anything harsh afterwards . Anything you use must be gentle and mild

That’s why I always talk of chemical exfoliants. They are the best for the face. She possibly has a sensitive skin and it has irritated her skin
