Multiple cisterns for a group of knights seems reasonable. Catch and store every drop possible. If it rains and fills all of your tanks it’s wise to build more. Spare capacity is better than not enough water.

It was a large organization of devout Christians during the medieval era who
carried out an important mission: to protect European travelers visiting
sites in the Holy Land while also carrying out military operations... Many Freemasons today say they are the spiritual descendants of the knights. According to legend, the Knights templar discovered the greatest treasure in human history buried beneath the Temple of Solomon in Jerusalem

Fascinating seeing these discoveries. The water has its own obvious uses yet wasn't it also used as a mapping system. When layer on layer vertical architecture was so important, following the route that water used created a potential route of the straightest available line. Real useful knowledge source when the use of mechanical equipment was unlikely or impractical.

The templars treasure is still there. Where albert draws the tunnels end in acre. It ends at the outer wall, underwater. The floor of that (now-lagoon) always had water in it. Being a great deterant, and disguise, to tell and fool all others, we've always had leaks from the sea coming in. Yet Albert you need to take that very tunnel its End.. there>> is the treasure. It was never in the tower nor its base, That was, a ruse ! Go back there :)

That place is clearly open to the public, it has a railing and obviously sees a lot of traffic. You can see it’s rigged with lights in several places, yet they don’t turn them on to make it seem more mysterious... journalism at its best..

I've visited the town many times. This Templar Church and its cisterns must be below sea level. I know the place is very near to the sea. So, my question is, how did they stop the sea water from entering / flooding the Templar Church and its water cisterns? (yes, I know plaster, but they are below sea level and a stone's throw from the sea).
