You and almost literally everyone else (myself included tbf) that watched this interview will continue to contribute absolutely nothing to help the Amazon rain forest. We will forget about this in a week or more likely within the hour and continue to go on with our daily lives without the Amazon in our minds. The voice for the Amazon will be unheard for 99% of us watching. Are you the 1% thatll actually do something? If you are...Then awesome but I doubt it, so lets thank Lex for the awesome entertainment.

Being eaten by a snake has got to be one of the worst ways to get taken out by an animal. Just the thought of being tightly constricted to the point your bones snap like twigs and your insides burst like water balloons… not to mention being swallowed whole and then slowly digested before being shat out into a slimy pile of snake poo, just seems like such an undignified way to go.

A lot of people talk about the Amazon being destroyed but nobody wants to talk about the virgin timber and old growth forests in my home state of Alabama being destroyed and turned into pine plantations. There is not much natural forests left in Alabama

Please explain to me why he thinks so highly of Mr. Beast, and why he says he's "revolutionized entertainment"? I don't get it, from what I saw Mr. Beast became a popular channel for giving large amounts of money to strangers, which got him lots of views and subscribers, which financed him to be able to keep doing it. It's like a youtube Ponzi scheme, there's nothing creative going on there.

I agree with this. The number of views is directly influenced by the amount of money spent/given and is not because of the "brainstorming" or "innovation". His target audience is teenagers and anyone above 18 would probably see through the smoke. That being said, I think he is highly ethical. He doesn't lie. He doesn't misdirect. He is what he says he is. But what he is, is just a youtuber. NOT a "revolutionize entertainment" guy.

Well, maybe your judgement is solely based on what you've seen of him lately. While coming up, guy's literal hobbie was to find ways to make a youtube video viral, gathered a circle of people whose thinking was around that same obsession, experimented enough to actually get a formula for appealeable, viral videos and then used his revenue to never stop making a profit through the symbol money has in our culture and situations that involve money, and generally generosity, giving things away, which is an arguably nice landing point for you to continue your career, rather than focusing just on the creative, pushing through the formula while lending as many hands as you can to society and benefiting your ecosystem as positively as you're capable is nothing short of astonishing. Not to ride on the guy too hard, he doesn't live like a monk or is the Buddha but his generosity seems genuine, and is making a good
He is redistributing money from advertisers to the people that need it in a highly methodical way. Dude is a master at using UA-cam. He isn't stumbling into it by luck and I doubt most people can study a system and game it as well as MrBeast does UA-cam. The behind the scene logistics of many of these videos is much more complicated than people realize.

The animals were removed from their water habitat and transported to a filming location, and the chosen snake was deceived into using her precious energy reserves to constrict a human being pretending to be a pig, all for a publicity stunt.

Paul Rosolie and his crew put this snake through undeniable stress and robbed her of essential bodily resources. She was forced to constrict and then not allowed to eat.
Paul sucks. He can play the "I was young and hollywood card" all he wants but that whole thing shows him for who he was. he also went o multiple late night talk shows laughing about it and saying "you gotta watch the video" dude just plain sucks.

Why do I feel like lex and some of the people he interviewed are very advanced experiments? Lex has NO emotion and feels a bit soulless. Not to mention that he dresses like the men in black ALL THE TIME. I like him but that doesn’t change what he feels like.

Great interview. One of the best ways to get people to start caring about the environment is to stop lying to the public about CO2 and "climate change". CO2 is not a pollutant. This is the last thing human beings should be focused on.
CO2 isn’t a pollutant per se, but it does trap infrared radiation from the sun more effectively in the atmosphere. More CO2 (and other gases like nitrous oxide and methane) = more heat absorbed and trapped in the atmosphere.
Which is exactly why we need to protect the environment/ the Amazon. Plants filter the Co2 out of the atmosphere and create oxygen, cooling the planet and allowing us to keep breathing. Which I would love to continue doing.
@@timokirchler Fine. But what if the benefits of a small amount of warming and plant fertiliser in the atmosphere outweigh the enormous cost of trying to stop it? Have you done the math on this? We also have no viable alternative to fossil fuel at present. Perhaps a better path forward right now is to find better ways to prevent waste and putting actual pollutants into our food cycle. Something to think about. The trillions pumped into climate alarmism have done nothing but cause energy poverty.
