Pretty thorough explanation! Stevonnie is so interesting to me because even more than Steven himself, Stevonnie seems like the culmination of Pink's/Rose's legacy. They have her full battle prowess with both sword and shield, they proved that inter-species fusion was possible, and when they accidentally showed up at the Era 3 ball, their build in the Imperial outfit looked much more like Pink than Steven ever did.
And let's not forget that Stevonnie played pink diamond when they had their first diamond dream. It was them we see pleading and bugging yellow for a colony right before breaking the window.

What I like about Stevonnie is that they are a character of their type done right. They show that people like them are not weird or anomalies, but people who are complex yet beautiful like everyone else. Also, Stevonnie always seemed like another version of Garnet or someone who was on their way to being like her. In other words, Stevonnie represents a beautiful relationship.

Love the video & Stevonie as a character. They’re absolutely gorgeous, and their personality is so awesome. The only thing I don’t agree is Rebecas statement about puberty. When a child experiences puberty, they go through hormonal changes that develop over time into adulthood; they don’t become adults once they reach puberty!
The experience line I think could be great for so many other contradicting things and reassessing for yourself. For instance I have massive depression and anxiety but I’m a butterfly optimist, two things that keep me going is being hopelessly hopeful and a helpful paranoia that I’ll end things right before things turn around for me. I can step back and take a look at these things like, I am an experience.

I know someone who was born intersex. It really varies per person. She was born with both a penis, and a uterus. She was labeled a boy at birth but later identified as a woman. It's quite fascinating. Some people might also have a penis but go through female puberty. Others have symptoms that aren't as noticeable though.

When I was younger, I wasn’t aware what enby was. I always assumed that the gems called Stevonnie “they” or “them” because they were referring to both Steven and Connie. I didn’t even realize until now that they were non-binary

Does anybody notice how Stevonie’s skin tone constantly changes? In change your mind (or legs from here to homeworld idk) it was more of Steven’s skin tone when they accidentally fused. When they first fused, it was both skin tones combined, and when they visited Lars, it was more of Connie’s skin tone. It’s prob just the lighting but idk.
When Lars sees Stevonnie in his space ship (for the second time) I love how he’s surprised not because he doesn’t exactly know what a fusion really is but because he knew that Stevonnie existed at 2:13 he’s meet her (I’m using female pronouns because she looks more feminine than masculine) and now he knows it just Steven and Connie he was kind of crushing on
Stevonnie uses they/them pronouns even if they "look more feminine than masculine". I know this character is fictional but they are a representation of Non-binary & trans ppl (some who do "look more feminine") that would still like their pronouns to be respected.

I know someone who was born intersex. It really varies per person. She was born with both a penis, and a uterus. She was labeled a boy at birth but later identified as a woman. It's quite fascinating. Some people might also have a penis but go through female puberty. Others have symptoms that aren't as noticeable though.
