What a dangerous truck these are if you look in between the rear passenger seat and the front seat look at the doorpost an adult cannot put his foot in there into the backseat so if you gets hit in the side you'll be trapped also other problem motor control for the heater always Burns Out tire pressure sensors are no good as soon as you go and step in sit in the driver's seat you slam your head into the top of the door that the engineers who made this truck should be burned with a branding iron also notice in the video you can even see the odometer
Knock it all you want. I love my 2004 Explorer. I drive with the intent not to get in wrecks! All trucks are dangerous. I even replaced the Timing chains & guides in mine at about the same mileage the one for sale has. It will need those any time now. Labor estimate is $3,500.00 to $4,000.00.
i got a 2005.never replaced the timing chain or guides and its at 188.000.great in the snow.and never hit my head on the door.
Same here at 253k just keep up on oil changes and they run forever

4.0 sohc is the worst engine ever.
It's who owned it that matters, get regular maintenance and tune ups and it's a great engine. I've seen many reviews on it.
