    Ingredients
    Mushroom soup
    - 2 Tbs Butter (30g)
    - Olive oil as needed
    - 300g Mushrooms
    - 1/2 Onion (diced)
    - 2 Cloves of Garlic (minced)
    - 2 Tsp Chopped Thyme
    - As needed Black pepper
    - As needed Salt
    - 2 Cup Chicken Stock (500ml)
    - 1/2 Cup Cooking Cream or Evaporated Milk (125ml)
    - 3 Tbs Flour (30g)
    .
    Garlic Bread
    - 1/2 Cup Butter (113g, room temperature)
    - 1 Tsp Olive Oil
    - 4 Cloves of Garlic (minced)
    - 1 Tbs Parsley (minced)
    - Salt
    - 1 Tsp Garlic Powder (optional)
    - Any French Bread

    Instructions
    Mushroom soup
    1. In a pot, add olive oil. Once hot, add in the sliced mushrooms. Sprinkle some salt & black pepper. Saute until the liquid evaporates & they turn brown. Remove from the pan, set aside.
    2.In the same pot, add in about 1 tbs olive oil & butter. Once the butter melted, add in the diced onion. Saute until soft & translucent. Then add in minced garlic. Saute until fragrance. Then add in the remaining sliced mushrooms. Saute until soften & browned.
    3.Add in thyme & black pepper. Stir to combine. Then add in flour. Cook for abou 30 second. Then pour in the chicken stock while whisking to avoid lumps from forming.
    4.Simmer the soup until slightly thickened. Once thickened, turn off the heat & puree the soup using immersion blender or regular blende until smooth.
    5.On medium heat, pour in cooking cream, stir to combine. Then add in the reserved sautéed mushrooms from earlier. Stir to combine. Bring to simmer then turn of the heat.
    6.Ready to be served.

    Garlic Bread
    1. Slice the bread to your preference. Set aside.
    2.In a bowl, add butter & oilve oil together. Whisk until homogenous.
    3.Then add in minced garlic, minced parsley, garlic powder & salt. Mix to combine.
    4.Slather the mixture on the sliced bread. Bake it in the oven (200C) for 10 to 15 minutes or until turn golden brown.
    5.Ready to be served.
