- Landing practice in the pattern (six landings). Unfortunately I didn't capture the headset audio in this video (see note below), but I added captions in the video to document the "important" stuff.
A note regarding the audio:
I'm using a "Nflightcam GoPro Hero Aircraft Audio/Power Cable" to get the audio on the other videos. For a staggering $50, you only get about 5' of cable, which of course is just short enough to be not long enough. Pain in my a$$.
On this lesson, I tried using an extension USB cable to add slack to the connection. It didn't work, and I was unaware it wasn't working until I got home and edited the video.
Brilliant Instructor...keeps it simple..easier to remember during Brain overload.
These videos are stellar. I cannot thank you enough for making them
Awesome videos! Thanks for posting these. I'm planning to watch them all before I start taking flying lessons. Great instructor and I appreciate his focus on the fundamentals of flying the aircraft. I'm studying the airplane flying handbook and he hits all the critical points.
Really enjoying this series! My first lesson is tomorrow
I like you to be my instructor. I could learn a lot from you. Thank you.
No gum chewing this time. LOL. Enjoying these videos.
hahahah
AMEN! The only thing in this series that bugs me... my Ma and Pa taught me to chew with my mouth closed.
WAR DAMN EAGLE!!!!
very good video
Are you add 20% flaps when you do your push pull trim turn approach to the runway
And how far are you from the runway when you do the push, pull trim and turn
great , but wonder why I'm not seeing any flaps being used on landing
John does teach full flap landings but majority are no flaps.
@@user-fi6tq3mo3q Why would he do that?
Ray I’ll ask him tomorrow
@@user-fi6tq3mo3q thanks!!
@@user-fi6tq3mo3q did you get an answer?
At least we didn't have to listen to the chewing gum smacking.
No audio???

LOL, good one...
Yay no audio of the cid chewing instructor. Great instructor but, making an instruction video there should be no gum chewing distractions. Very un professional
