Soothing Vocal Therapy Exercise

  • Опубліковано 2 жов 2021
  • Use this exercise to relieve tired, sore or swollen vocal folds. Great to use as a cool down after singing or to start your warmup if you're in rough shape. Also great for anyone who becomes hoarse from speaking too much or too loud. Any skill level can do this. It's OK if you don't sound good at first. Gently repeat the exercise until your voice smooths out.

    For me I used to have a really stable voice and I could sing anything perfectly without straining my voice at all , but for a few months , I didn’t know that I was straining my voice and kind of started to sing in a false voice for a long time. So I felt like there was a lump in my throat every time I talk or sing , also I wanted to learn how to vocal fry and I guess I did it incorrectly cause now wherever I talk or sing , my voice keeps frying even in high pitch . My voice never cracked or fried before but now I’m not sure how to get back my original voice. I’m trying to let more air out to stop the fry and to let my vocal chords vibrate properly but I’m not sure how to do it. I feel like I’m damaging my voice more. How can I get my natural voice back , sing from the chest and stop the fry ?

    Hello Mark Baxter, please I would really love your respond to this....is singing with power same as belting...does it incorporate the same flow? And if it does, how long can one develop a consistent vocal power while Singing just like Sam Ryder (I guess u know him) and if you don't please do check him out so u could understand his power and his control........tnk you once more because you've always responded to my messages, am truly greatful.

    • @voicelessondotcom
      @voicelessondotcom  2 роки тому

      It depends who's using the words "belting" and "power" because they mean different things in different genres. Sam is a wonderful singer - but he would sound weak singing in the Foo Fighters or Machine Head. It's when the singer and the sound of the music complement each other that everybody elevates.
