- “Buy Back the Block” is a trendy slogan, but Chris Senegal has actually done just that. He recently purchased an entire abandoned block in the Fifth Ward section of Houston. He is currently in the process of developing luxury townhouses for the area. His plan is to get successful people that are originally from the neighborhood that moved out to come back.
In addition to being a real estate developer Chris is a trained engineer, he’s a former stock day trader, he was a franchise owner, and he's a business coach.
In episode 36 he gave us insight on the energy business, he outlines business success tips, he explained how to bypass gatekeepers to speak to high-level executives and he gave valuable information about real estate development and how to spot up and coming opportunities in the market. #Gentrification #realestate

Well done guys. I followed a similar path. Played the stock market for a minute before shifting to real estate. The passive income I generate from rental properties far exceeds that from investing in the stock market and is far less stressful. Great video!

it is so many directions that we all can come at this issue of buying back the block as well as being real estate we can create a associations as well as consortiums and which we will place our individual businesses or llc's under and each LLC under the consortium we're on our portion or share of the property which will keep the value in place as well as disallow any liability

I know what the hosts are thinking because I am thinking the same. Why do they live in New York City? I need to move to Houston. An entire block for 300k. You can get an apartment in the hood here for 300k or a house that needs work.
Yeah the housing market in NY is crazy. lol
Property is dirt cheap in PA we just picked up a duplex for 9K that needs 7K of rehab

Matter of fact have you ever heard of the w-8ben form and the W-IMY form there may be one more form the W9 it just depends on your business structure but the w-8ben is used for LLCs trust and business entities which creates a payment withholding up to 30% each entity holes 30% of cost and each account so that I can be that $100,000 house that's 60% plus your escrow that's 15% so you say about 75% of cost withholding whatever's left that is the cost that you pay but not only that the bank will pay the remaining cost because you're operating in a trust which is called a business Trust and it is a unincorporated business which is controlled by the board members within the business
