New deals estimated at roughly $300m for 3 years of exclusive streaming rights. Hes definetly seeing at least 1/3 already upfront.

What I’ve learned through personal experiences is when you are a “Real” person and i mean authentically Real, you expect that others are the same. I say what I mean. I have no hate or ill will towards anyone. If I say something I absolutely mean it. I’m extremely honest and up front about everything with everyone. When you are that way you just take for granted that everyone is that way because that’s all you know. It’s who you are.
The podcast really put some eyes on these deals and the companies overall views on our society.

First time viewer of the pod. Interesting to keep seeing this show pop up as Rogan has transitioned to his contract deal with Spotify. I don’t know anything about budden but I think for different genres of entertainment are just now waking up to what the comedy scene has been doing for years perfecting the podcasting scene. I think if these guys are taking a big gamble I think they should dive hard into showing where Spotify messed up and reflect it in their format or packaging of the show and that can only be done with the long game like how Rogan spent a decade doing podcast to be valued at 30 million a year. I only point this out because so many new podcasts have popped up because of covid lockdowns
