      ThelgDemon OK before JC & His death on the cross animal sacrifices were performed as a "substitute-token" situation to "put off the judgement of God! BTW besides the Jews & Judaism of the O.T. there were the "Devout" Monotheistic folk, that was older than Judaism & was in various cultures into the 20th century! JC death on Caalvary paid the full price in that animal sacrifices were no longer necessary! The book of Hebrews in the Bible explains this & this is why Christians offer no blood-sacrifice! However in the occult/satanism/luciferianism animal & human sacrifice & blood-drinking/cannabalism happens! There are books ect of ex occultist/satanist telling their experiences

      +TheIgDemon Satanist & luciferians not only do animal sacrifices but also human sacrifices & human blood drinking! BTW the animal sacrifices in Judaism of the Old Testement were token offerings done to put off the wrath of God! If man would have stopped during those thousands of years of animal sacrifices God would have judged the human race! also besides the Jews were the "Devout folk" & their Devout Folk Monotheism & many in this Biblical aspect

    • @RonSafreed

      +RonSafreed also did animal sacrifices for the "remission of sins"! However JC,s death on the cross was the final & ultimate sacrifice for the sins of man & this is why Christians offer no animal sacrifices! However soon the third temple will be rebuilt in Jerusalem & animal sacrifices will be done after a 2000 plus year hiatus on animal sacrifices by the Jews because they have not had a temple for two millennium!!!!!!

      I've read it. It basically says it wants to destroy Christianity. And the believe you can do whatever you want. Wich means it's ok to molest Children, rape, adultery and human sacrifice. Catholic hiarchy is a front for Satanism. It's all based around Crowley, he was child molester piece of shit. Most people who call them satnist don't know what that means. Most people who say they are Christans are not. And all those TV preachers are Satanist. Do your research before for you claim a title. The satanic church and Catholic Church are the same church.

    I really enjoyed this, thank you.
    I recently bought the satanic bible, I'm half way through it and I must say it's a very well written especially how he mixes smarts and comedy into the philosophy he puts forth. I was raised catholic and from a young age I knew something was "off" about it all. I dont want to get into the details but I was eventually excommunicated from the "family" and I had to learn how to defend myself in a country that was not my own with no one to help me. Going through that I took a hard look at "theist" and I realized there was no God that I am God and only I had the power to change my life and so I am still trying to change it. Satanism is the same thing [to me] as humanism or atheists the only difference is that; LaVey trolling "them" was a way to release all that pent up anger and regret that came from the previous "religions".You can make Satanism woke for you in anyway you want. If you like the rituals and "shows" they put on join the church and have fun. I, myself am still thinking of joining the official church just to see how it could help me in my dream career. But then again, as LaVey Satanism would say ... I just get up and do it myself.

    This was very enlightening. I must say that I had actually a lot to agree with Satanism. The only major qualm I have with Gilmore's discussion as well as their "commandments" is the condemnation of the weak. Basically, if you're not strong, you will be stomped on. Well, how fair is that for our natural handicaps? I'll never have as strong lungs as others because of my asthma and a relative of mine has to deal with Aspergers. I also have to contend with a minimum wage job because I can't afford college otherwise while she has to have training to make herself a contender for the workforce. Does that make us "losers?"

    • @christastempel5577
      @christastempel5577 10 років тому +7

      StarSnowGhost, you're in my opinion certainly not a loser, because you've got asthma - I actually have Asperger syndrome like your friend, and I'm proud of having had to try a little harder all my life, in order to survive in a world that only has just begun to understand what the syndrome is about, and how to treat it's neurological disfunction. I, I'm guessing like you, have only begun to be informed about the Church of Satan, through UA-cam, and I really need to be more informed before I give an educated opinion.... however, I think that it's incorrect to think that these people 'stomp' on the weak - what I've learned from this radio interview, is that they stand for the value of human individualism, pride and liberty - I've got to tell you that I also can't stand people who go 'me, me,me, poor me,me,me' because they usually don't give a fuck about anyone else, but are self indulgent little shits - I think the Church of Satan is not about looking down on people with disabilities, quite on the contrary, I think they appreciate people who are strong despite their disability, just like you and me.

      Christa Stempel
      Ooh yeah! I can't stand people who just say, "I've got a problem and there's absolutely nothing I can do about that… give me a hand out." You have to prove your worth to the world for sure. Show the doubters that they're wrong!
      -I'm just saying his tone and the way he presented the idea of societal "losers" as well as the commandment to basically break the weak is troubling to me.

    • @huge_balls
      @huge_balls 10 років тому

      Christa Stempel "Strength" is relative and there are legitimate mental illnesses that can cause a person to "lose their strength" the way many people view strength.
      Now I admit I don't know enough about Satanism to really be arguing about it. Do they have an "official" book, this Church of Satan? If so, then you are generalizing and rationalizing the same way Christians do.
      However I assume that as you said, it's more a way of thinking and that the book isn't necessarily a guide to be taken completely seriously. What do you think?

    • @christastempel5577
      @christastempel5577 10 років тому

      Jiggle Squirt Yes, I agree strength is a relative term, however I said that 'I think' the church of Satan appreciates people who are strong despite their disabilities, in reply to StarSnowGhost. As I said in my comment, I've only come across the church of satan by watching different videos, and I found it interesting, however I'm not interested in their church or any written work by the founder of the church or its members, per se. I learned from these videos that their is a kind of 'bible' written by the founder of the church of satan, named Anton La Vey, so if you're interested you probably can find out quickly by googling that name. I don't know what you mean by saying that I'm generalizing and rationalizing the same way christians do - cause I neither have generalized nor rationalized anything in any way. As I said I'm not interested in the church of satan, it just has been a bit of fun getting a little bit informed and learning a bit about their philosophy - at least it removed my prejudice.

      I would point out that the Jews are still waiting for the Messiah. And Jesus was supposed to return before the Apostles died. Shouldn't we be working to avoid causing an apocalypse, rather than hoping and praying for it to happen sooner?

      i have heard people tell me they are afraid of reading the satanic bible because of the repercussions god would have on them. i always told them that if you are going to hate something, know why you hate it. you could also say that as a christian, you should learn your enemy, satanists, so when you argue against them, you know what their answers are going to be. debate 101.
      my mom and i are very close and we used to do puzzles and listen to music on nights that my dad was working out of state for a month or so. when i bought the satanic bible when i was in highschool, i would read it while she was doing her puzzle and ask her questions about it.
      such as, anton lavey mentioned that he was a crime scene photographer for the LAPD i believe and he saw scenes so ghastly that they disgusted him which helped him to see the worst of human nature, he also described working in the circus and seeing men lusting after the women there, asking for forgiveness on sunday then doing it again the next weekend. i asked my mom about that and she did tell me that "god is not an ignorant or naive god. if you ask for forgiveness, it doesnt matter how many hail marys you say, if its not true in your heart then you will not be forgiven in the eyes of god. " that made a lot of sense to me if i were to argue a christian, assuming there was a god.

      I mean, without man, the concept of evil isn't a reality. We definitely don't need belief in a higher power to do what is considered evil by humanity at large, all it takes is certainty in one's viewpoint and the will to act upon it. But yeah, having a belief in God, an Absolute Moral Authority, sure does push one to adopt both that certainty and that drive.

    I've seen and listened to a quite a few videos and interviews about the Chruch of Satan, and I found it to be in it's philosophy and essence, very close to Buddhism - however one needs to consider that the Church of Satan is a religion, as well as a philosophy, and Buddhism is not a religion. I am not calling myself a Buddhist, but I use meditation to still my conditioned mind in order to try and remain in the moment... through remaining in the here and now, clarity of consciousness allows me to realise my negativities and therefore, I can begin to free my mind of negativities and practice positive thoughts and actions. Part of my meditation is also wishing happiness, loving kindness, inner peace, and the developement of true comapssionate love, for all sentient beings. This is called in Buddhist terms,' meta meditation', meaning to actively direct positive thought out to reach every sentient being, all alive as well as in the spirit world, all visible and invisible - I think the 'meta meditation' is a part of Buddhiist practice, and where Buddhism and the Church of Satan differs, but I stand corrected if I missed something, after all, I've only started to become interested in the Church of Satan, through these videos, and I haven't even read the works of Anton La Vey.

      I never tried to kill the negative traits in my mind. Things like violence, and insanity are never truly disposed of in the mind, only to be tamed and utilized.

    • @christastempel5577
      @christastempel5577 4 роки тому

      @@homiesenatep, I don't know if you answer to me in particular, but anyway I want to say that I think one can not 'kill' negative 'traits' in the mind, because a) negativities of the mind are not 'traits', but realities that manifest within the mind/body phenomena, b) killing implies a violent action and that is a negative in itself, and c) it would be far too easy ridding oneself of negativities, and that is indeed never easy.
      You talk about things like violence and insanity, but I am not talking about the pathology of a sick mind, I am simply talking about mundane kind of negativities that most of us accumulate during our lifetime, and therefore become part of our conditioned mind.
      The first step to even achieve some kind change within our conditioned mind, is to realise that our mind is a reactive mind, and that means, it is either reacting with like, or dislike, so either negative, or positive. Once we have realised that, we need to realise that either like, or dislike, are part of the same coin, because both create a manifestation in the mind/body phenomena. And here in depth meditation comes into play, because we can not realise that positive and negative thoughts/feelings indeed are manifested within our mind/body phenomena - in our day to day busy lives, but that we must first and foremost 'still' our minds for a prolonged period of time, and that is very hard to do.
      If you don't believe me, I suggest, sit still for a few minutes, and just concentrate on your breathing, without allowing any thoughts to interrupt you being in the here and now - simply observing your breath, as it goes in and out.
      I can tell you right now, that you won't be able to just observe your breath, without any thought interference, for more than a few minutes.

    • @homiesenatep
      @homiesenatep 4 роки тому

      @@christastempel5577 I kinda see the type of negativity you are talking about, the imbalances that accumulate from things typically like stress and mistreatment. I've been meditating for 1 year though, and it appears that I've aquired information of my mind differently than what you have told me, it is true that meditation is needed to kill off those imbalances in the mind, however it is impossible to never aquire information on how to appropriately use the negativity that is naturally indrilled in the mind, such as violence. It is true that things like kindness and love are very important things to manifest, but you can never make things like violence artificially non-existent. It isn't part of a sick mind, but rather of a normal mind. Negative traits aka violence can be appropriately manifested by Intelligent and instinctive planning against a threat. It isn't an imbalance, it's an instinct.

    • @christastempel5577
      @christastempel5577 4 роки тому

      @@homiesenatep, hi back homie. No, I'm not talking about instinct, nor imbalances of the mind, nor do I think that negativity is 'drilled' in the mind. You talk about meditating, but not all meditation is depth meditation, meaning that most meditation practices are only in fact relaxation exercises, which are good for relaxation and therefore beneficial in that sense, but in depth meditation is by far more complex, and a lot more difficult to do. To give you some idea, I learned a meditation technique called Vipassana, and this could only be taught while going into a camp situation, where one took a vow of silence and five precepts (as in Buddhist precepts) and did nothing but observe the breath for three days, before one was given the technique of Vipassana, which one would practice for the next seven days, an hour each time, for about ten hours a day. Practice predated Theory, which was also given in the form of a daily discourse, which one could understand very well, because everyone would experience the same difficulties, starting with not wanting to sit still for an hour, and learning to do just that. The first step thus, is to learn to still the mind, and when the mind is still, the body follows. At first, the mind/body does not even achieve to be still for more then a few seconds, but then it becomes minutes, and eventually one might achieve to sit still in the same position for an hour, however, the mind would have drifted into the past, or the future, many times. So the exercise is to keep the mind in the present.
      Practicing this kind of meditation, one realises that the mind is conditioned to react with like, or dislike, meaning with positive, or negative all the time.
      So if somebody says something nice to us, we react with liking that 'feeling' is creates, and when one says something insulting to us, we react with disliking that feeling it creates. This is just a basic explanation to how our mind/body reacts, but it is always like, or dislike. However, all reaction manifests in the mind/body phenomena unchecked, if we are not aware of this process, and the only way to check this process, is via awareness. So awareness is really the key to daily meditation practice, and then we also understand that nobody is to be blessed, or blamed, for our 'feelings' and reactions.
      There is more to be said, but I think this is enough said. I'm interested what you have to say in response, so I finish here and say BE HAPPY. :)

Just spout the self-righteous rubbish they've been programmed to eject in response to a programmed input in order to get the warm fuzzies they've been conditioned to feel as a reward for expected stimuli. It's depressing. Edit: Afterthought - Fortunately, not all believers are this way. As with many loudmouth minorities and fanatics, they give the group they claim to represent a bad name.

    Atheism or Satanism and or the Atheistic Satanist / Atheistic Satanism is all the same 'religion of self.' Of coarse the Satan character as a static personality and or a dark universal energy can and often times does get credited but not always... it all depends on how one personally sees the blending of both Atheism & Satanism. Self-serving pleasure seeking gratification 'do what thou wilt' could also be a atheistic, hedonistic as well as a satanistic perspective.
    I realize that Aleister Crowley said 'do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the law' however at most he would have only been half correct, assuming he was even half correct at all. Remember how it was reported that his last and final words before passing on were "I am perplexed." Poor old drug addicted Aleister Crowley never really had the opportunity to know Michio Kushi & George Ohsawa as he died near the end of 1947. Still he could have researched ancient eastern philosophy better then he did, if he even had at all which I kind of doubt. Aleister Crowley did some everlasting damage as it is that the 8 Illuminati Mafia Style International Banking Families spread their 'love of money being the root of all evil' financial system down the financial pyramid onto all those 'love of money' Political Elites and Government Agencies that would serve them and the evil that might come along with it.
    If some of you are disenchanted with religions, it is perfectly understandable as most all religion is like a bitter pill wrapped in something slightly tasty. Before giving in to simple shallow though processes that make Atheism and or Satanism seem attractive first realize the 'Natural Law of Attraction' and 'The Order of the Infinite Universe' that is all around oneself. Try looking into and understanding the below mentioned as this should be a good base of understanding to help one get started in more deeper healthier meditative thought process qualities.
    Currently there are right around 4200 different religions and or spiritual philosophic understandings on planet earth. IMHO none of them need to be exclusively memorized or vehemently embraced. When taking Yin & Yang opposite energies into account one only needs to recognize how it is that reincarnation best coincides with yin and yang opposite philosophy.
    "Religion is regarded as true by the common people, by the WISE as false, and by the Rulers as useful."- Seneca
    “I am against religion because it teaches us to be satisfied with not understanding the world.” ~ Seneca
    Humans are capable of achieving the 7th supreme stage of human development and this is sometimes referred to as obtaining the "Keys to the Kingdom of Heaven on Earth", "7th Heaven", "Nirvana", and or Satori". Realize and keep in mind that a sideways 8 ( ∞ ) represents Infinity / God. Unfortunately or fortunately depending if one views the imperfect as being perfect,.. humans seek comfort pleasures above dietary discipline (everything / nearly all energy within this material realm is either unbalanced or balanced food) and therefore fall short of reaching and or maintaining the 7th stage. Enter colorful chaotic human drama, past, present, and future to observe and ponder on as curious current events and or historic human wonderment as a side effect of the human collective consciousness not reaching the 7th Stage (what seems imperfect becomes perfect within the grand scheme of historic human evolution). Stages 6 and below offer human physiological shortcomings ranging from subtle to extreme depending just how sick / evil it manifests too. There's your "Satan" within a wide energy spectrum of various degrees, individual and or as a human collective on what also is to be recognized as one of many life sustaining hell planets in a vast universe of over 176 billion galaxies (Hubble UDF observed).
    By seeing you will go blind. By making money you will become poor. Only by imprisoning yourself will you be set free. By choosing the way of religion you are choosing to cloud your judgement with sophistry and doublethink.
    The imperfect becomes perfect thus God is truly Great.
    George Ohsawa's modernized macrobiotic yin yang philosophy is practically free and it is also a very low cost dietary discipline. Through its practice one can know exactly who and what God is and this ultimate understanding combined with the reincarnation concept automatically causes one to be the best person one can be. This demonstrates just how fair God really is because of its low cost to all that seek it out.
    Realizing that one can measure God's existence.
    Earth is a polarized finite material planet within a finite material universe within a INFINITE material and spiritual universe. Earth's environment consists of extreme to subtle opposites. Examples of Yin and Yang: Attribute- centrifugal-centripetal-force, Tendency- expansion-contraction, Position- outward-inward, Direction- ascent-descent, Temperature- hot-cold, Weigh- light-heavy, Atomic- electron-proton, Biological- vegetable-animal, Sex- male-female, Structure- space-time, Factor- water-fire, Movement- passive-active, Function- diffusion-fusion, Vibration- shorter wave and higher frequency-longer wave and lower frequency, etc, etc. The opposite of finite is Infinite. All things finite (matter) begin and eventually end. Infinity has no beginning or ending and for that reason Infinity is God. Since the finite material realm is within Infinity All is fragments of God. ~ ALL within the ALL is ALL we ALL are... peace.
    Do you now realize that you and I are specks of god.
    Humanity lives "fearfully" "submerged" within finite matter mostly unable to comprehend Infinity / God. Therefore "We All Live In A Yellow Submarine". - Bhagavad-Gita - Book Of India, Gautama Buddha - taught primarily in northeastern India, Jesus In India - The 18 Missing Years, George Ohsawa - Macrobiotic Yin Yang Philosophy Post Nuclear Bombardment 1945, visits India 1953-1955, The Beatles In India circa 1968 - Yellow Submarine released November 13, 1968.
    Self-study and practice Macrobiotic Yin-Yang Philosophy to better understand the above described measurements via the yin & yang compass.
    "A Complete Macrobiotic Yin Yang Philosophic Understanding Combined With Its Practical Dietary Discipline Is Timeless Universal law. All Other Teachings Are Incomplete." ~ Michio Kushi & Yukikazu Sakurazawa a.k.a.- George Ohsawa.

    Why call yourself a Satanist if your an atheist? Satanists basically practice atheism except they use morbid and religious iconography where none is needed. I have read the Satanic Bible and I think it is silly to speak the Lord's prayer backwards mocking it if you do not believe in the Christian God. Basically Satanist seem to just be atheists with a theatrical penchant. Unfortunately calling oneself Satanists only encourages Christians to believe in Satan even more. It perpetuates the Christian iconography through its symbolism. Even if I was a satanist I would not go around dressed in red and black all the time with chains of upside down crosses and pentagrams sporting a goatee. Anton LaVey was a smart guy, but he was using the sybolism for propoganda and to fund his church. Atheists with churches are just silly. Unfortunately somebody formed an atheist church already. Seems there are alot of silly atheists in the world too.

    First of all, very, very few satanists practice any rituals whatsoever. It's not a requirement in any way. All other religions practice more rituals. And the "point" of the ritual is to relieve things like stress. It's simply psychology.
    Yes, young people are often satanist for bad reasons. I would say hormones of puberty plays a big part. That's also one of the reasons that the church of satan only accepts applicants over 18.

But I was always "Lucifer", not because I was ego-driven but because HIS problems with God were MY problems with God. Turns out Xian morality is broken on nearly every level so those novels became self-therapy and the character arcs made them worth keeping. I edit them now for self-publication.

    The thing is Satanists do not worship the Christian deity "Satan". For them, Satan is a symbol, not a being (as this radio has stated, if you listen to it). Atheism is the rejection of believe in the existence of deities, and Satanists worship nothing but themselves. It's rather confusing, but you can be atheist AND satanist.

    Why didn't LaVey just call it a "Church of Atheist"? Until 12/6/12, I thought that Satanists were Satanists. About ten years ago I read part of Lavey's Satanic Bible online, I didn't perceive it as atheist. At one time I thought Scientology was based on science, and I was wrong about that also. I was brought here because Paul Ryan is into Ayn Rand, LaVey was inspired by Rand, and it's been a downward spiral. I've read the book "1984" and it's like Orwellian doublespeak to a degree.

    Around the word God? Sure. When LaVey says God, he means a force of nature, much like gravity. You are free to define what God means to you. The quotation marks are there because when most hear the word God, they think of an anthropomorphic deity, and this is not a necessary attribute when defining your own. God does not have to be conscious, or even have a mind with which to be conscious. The quotes are there to clarify he does not mean God in the way it is used in the colloquial sense.

  • @delusionnnnn
    @delusionnnnn 11 років тому

    Sure, but LaVey wasn't using the word to either suggest a continuation of thought between Satan as understood by the Jews or the Babylonians before them. It's analogous to Neo-Druidism - the word "Druid" was chosen for its romanticism, not because the people who created neo-Druidism actually had any authoritative source for what the Druids actually believed or did. The Satan LaVey was referencing (tongue-in-cheek?) is the Satan of the culture he was a part of.

Adults told me to love my enemies and all I got for it was more pain and damage. I revile anyone who teaches victimization to kids. For the record, you may have heard something like "Satanism is just Ayn Rand with rituals," or something like that, which LaVey himself said. Because he was involved in this religion, people can throw a fit because most of us are too used to taking very literally everything religious people say. It was shorthand; an oversimplification, fairly accurate as it was. Neither Rand nor any other seemingly diabolical philosopher is being used or abused to make Satanism. It's its own thing.

    Seth seems to like and agree with satanism except for the ritual aspect of it which makes no sense. Seth himself said the one thing he missed from his religious days was the ceremony and things like that. Satanism is atheistic but includes ritual as human animals do enjoy engaging in such a thing and need it so it would be silly not to use it. And Seth also said that using prayer as a psychological tool and not a supernatural one is a great idea and again that is what Satanists do
