Cool car and options! My dad's 1 owner 68 GT FB 4 speed did not get the in dash tach and he was not happy! Sounds like at the end of the 68 run they ran out of parts!
I assume Charlie will read the posts so, Charlie you have one heck of a incredible Mustang there! Really nice options! The work is really not that crazy to get done. You just have to roll up your sleeves and get to it. Candy apple red big block car with AC would look great finished and would certainly be something you would be proud to have. Really like that it is an S code AC car.
My wife's 67 GTA fastback is also a highly optioned car but it too was ordered without traction lock. One legged 3.00:1. It also has both consoles but when I got it it had a real Shelby GT350 steering wheel which is very desirable.
G’day Mate, Richard from Australia. Luv ya work Brother, Your vid’s are awesome. I have been watching them all rebuild/ replacing different panels and parts. Great to see you use the Dakota Digital gauges, I have those - can’t wait to power them up, but I think I’m a ways off that at the moment. Did you use the American Autoware stuff too ?? I can’t remember. Im retired fro the Australian Army and I have a ‘67 Coupe which is my therapy and retirement project. Currently just finished cutting the entire floor out. I do need to replace: 1. The floor. 2. Both Front floor supports. 3. Firewall. 4. Upper and lower cowl. 5. Dash panel/ frame. 6. Torque boxes, both sides. I have all these parts. With chassis/panel/ frame integrity and alignment in mind, what order would you suggest I replace them in - before I go crazy and cut it all out. Clearly piece by piece, to keep the main shell of the car right and square ! The entire car is gutted, except for the export brace & Monte Carlo bar. I thought just to keep the width of the car as best as possible. Keep the good vids coming man, and I look forward to hearing from you. Cheers Richard.
Thank you for serving your country. I have a whole series of videos in the Jade playlist. The first ones deal with the floor supports, torque boxes and floor pan. basically, you have to work in a process. The hardest part will be the firewall as it has to get past the frame rails and aprons if you want it to fit right. The firewall is meant to go UNDER the front edge of the floor pan. I try to do one side at a time. You need to remove the torque box to get to the floor support.
@@JoDaddysGarage thank you Sir, for your Service. I had the pleasure of being collocated with some of your guys in the Middle East ( USAF Red Horse, Armoured Infantry, Some Marine Corps guys in Iraq) fantastic people. I absolutely get ‘sequence is score’. Made me laugh really, because so much of what you learn in the military can have a real life application. Get through ‘Jade’ vids. Cheers Mate.

Very cool video and information. What was the name of the report with original car options….and do you know how do you apply for one?
Marti report. Just google that.
Charlie couldn’t find a better source for advice on his car. Tom
Maybe it has a worn out limited slip 3.25 ratio.
The order sheet verifies what's in it.
@@JoDaddysGarage - It took zooming in on my computer so I could read the report. 3.00 conventional axle.
