yep tornado is better without amulet, but on dummy targets you need to put amulet to proc tornado. in real content, never use amulet or damage will be lower. ^^
I know this is an old video but im just gonna speak here on atomic battle tanking. Also i just got back to dc after about 6 months and my arts are out dated. But before red tornado and omega i tested literally everything and the loadout i got makes no sense but for some reason being tank makes the loadout hit way harder and going to dps for my loadout actually weakens it. The loadout was/is atom splitter/ geiger blast/ weapon buff (forgot the name)/ whirling dervish/ RSK/ Neo venom. Weapon master for brawling shuriken storm and superpowered spec. I was using Trans/ Grim/ Quislet. This was suuuuuuper powerful. But with the new art i need to test. Although even though i came back just recently this loadout still hits really hard and im even undergeared. Weak dps who are 460+ cr still cant out dps this loadout and i am 444 cr tank gear lol. Its crazy good. The way you use this loadout is Hit atom splitter, and you can clip the second combo with geiger cliped with weapon buff to get the geiger hit while turning on aura same time if needed. then use shuriken WM clipped with dervish into Shuriken WM Into atom splitter and combo last splitter into geiger and rinse and repeat. Suuuuuuper strong test it out. Now with new arts i will probably drop Robot sidekick to place omega in the loadout and drip grim for the O.ega totality. From there im not sure which art to take out for Red tornado but red seems really good here since im doing hybrid anyway. But trust me this is great. Idk why but if you try this loadout amd then switch to dps role with dps gear it just doesn't hit as hard. Its like this particular loadout is empowered just for being tank. Thats not to say that atomic tank has higer dps than atomic dps itself, but with atomic dps you hotta play ebon. And now it looks like ebon + omega is gonna be the way to go. So im not sure why but this loadout i gave you for atomic is actually cracked if used correctly. Edit: i forgot to mention everytime you can you gotta clip geiger blast with weapon buff saves time and helps output damage faster Every other rotation your gonna clip geiger with weapon buff. And now i remember the name its atom powered assult. Also i use Krypto/ cyborg/ oracle for allies and i have never had a power issue. Dont even need a troll. But if you have a good troll, you can switch out the support allies for whatever you're comfortable with.

Also I think k atomic is super fun and underrated as a power. Like I've never been in any elite c9ntent I can't beat. It's just as viable as other tanks with the real problem coming down to skill. I do think it's probably the hardest to use correct outside of rage, but even rage is not that hard once you master rage crash. Where atomic is kinda hard all the time. But of course once you master it it's not hard anymore but I think that's why most people trash atomic. Because there are atomic players that suck not gonna lie. It's just harder to use. You need alot of experience with atomic. Which is why I think most people I see especially lately use fire.
Can you explain what clarion would do as a atomic tank/battle tank? Would it put out more damage using powers/weapons. Im thinking about getting it but im not too sure if i should 🤔
Flight is easier for speedruns since they fixed the ability SWOOP ATTACK now you can superflight in combat faster between group of adds. Making flight faster than superspeed.
yeah, in fact optimisation depend on the instance. and the room. in hallways i use swoop attack to go faster . BUT during a boss fight i change it for other abilities. each situation should be a loadout basically.
Im kind of a newbie for battle tanking with atomic and im doing decent damage but not enough since i have 180 arts for dilustel, Mystic, and omegahedron. I know they aren't great for damage but the heals work nicely. What art would you recommend i switch out for to help me do more damage? I don't use pets or trinkets. Im also cr 440 and i would greatly appreciate your advice for regular content but also duals. Thx in advance
Yes. You use good loadouts for tanking. But you need another armory for battle tanking. Tornado at 120 is good. Grim and quislet can go 120 and be good too. 👍
Simplest battle tank build is : spec sp and augments into damage. 100% might. Then go artifacts tornado + quislet + grim. Level 120 is enough to be relevant in damage 🙂

Yo with earth are you spec into might or dom with your sp and are you wearing full tank gear or full dps gear last question with earth can you tank with shard and mercy as art or no ?
all builds where done in the same spec : Full MIGHT no dom + Full Tank GEAR 100%. u can tank with shard and or mercy its fine. pet build is strong too !!
@solareiusdeiu yeah but which power to replace to put in god strength or mercy power . I know sometimes u can use the art without out the mercy in loadout but godwave is a must to click wouldn't it
earth need the less amount of abilities to perform, as soon as you keep jackhammer and brick. the rest is very optional and dependent on your build. i made a video on earth battle tank with 1 button loadout (jackhammer) and brick. it works 4mill parses lol. 450sec/sec. you can put mercy or godstrength anywhere. i will make a pet build video later on

STAY RAGE !! it is also the best full tank power, you will be better on the tanking side + the battle tanking side. rage is for many reasons a way better power ;)

grim is for adds areas. for boss fights i figured you need pipe and dead king to do more damage on Berserk and orbital. BUT : i hate pay to win. and overall you are better with Tornado Quislet Grim is you just want 3 artifacts and no swap.
I agree. Fire and Atomic are very comparable. The ranking for 4th and 3rd place is very close between them 2. Fire has a lot of advantages , heals and the burn is consistent to. Atomic same thing good heals good burn. Ranking them is very subjective. I placed atomic over fire because i find to power itself made for battle tanking, the damage rotation heals you with the aura still fire is good

Most damage possible is rage. Earth is good too but earth single target is inferior to rage. Its a close second for earth.
