    Absolutely hands-down the best reloading bench that I have seen on here! I’m at woodworker myself and I was looking to build my first reloading bench and you gave me some great ideas thank you so much!

    I like your observation that "It's a work in progress." My spatially challenged reloading room has been around since about 1992 and has had more facelifts than an aging Hollywood leading lady. One of the foremost "problems" I have confront is my being a "brass magnet" on range trips and having to perpetually find new corners to store empty cases.

    Excellent organized room and bench set-up. I love that cartoon of the boy about to pop a paper bag when his dad is reloading! I just printed my own copy and it too will be on the wall by my reloading bench.

    Here's a tip: since you've already got the air compressor, attach a rubber tipped blow gun and stick the tip tight into the mouth of the case and blow the water forcefully out the flash hole. Reverse the cases (I pick up 3 at a time) and blow the primer pockets by simply waving the blowgun across them. You are now free to use the brass dryer to make jerky. 😁

    First,hats off on your bench build,excellent layout and I can imagine the work flow,uncluttered and organized,only way to reload. You've given me a lot of ideas for my own bench build and I do appreciate your video,it's been a much needed kick in the pants to get going on mine.One big pat on the back for getting your dad's flag up on display,I'm sure he'd be very proud and appreciate it,crowning touch to a great room,thanks again for the inspiration......Steve

    very nice setup! I built mine out of 2x4's and plywood.. I probably could not afford for you to build one for me and all my presses, and supporting equipment. That however is an awesome start to a great reloading room!.

    Nice very Nice and simple. I can see that you believe in " all in a penny for a pound and buy once cry once for purchases" However I am kinda of surprised you have the RCBS press when other single stage produce less run-out Forster Co-Ax considering some of your reloading set up investment as higher end. Good for you Thanks for sharing your ideas.

      Thanks Jeff! There is a later tour on my channel with a few updates since I did this one. The RCBS has done well. Debated the Coax but decided to stay with this one.

    Great organizational ideas keep things clean, out of the way, and easy to find. Almost looks unused! (Which I am sure is not the case.)

      Thanks! Some days my level of OCD is a blessing. Other days it's a curse. I can't stand for any of my areas to be messy and I'm sure not doing any video of them when they are. :)

    Fantastic reloading room, only thing I can think of is maybe putting some sound dampening pads on all sides of air compressor box but that it.

    Love the room and the build. Could you just please give me the general dimensions of the main table such as the hight of the table(minus the cabinets), length and width of the tabletop, and the length and width of the base of the table. Thanks.

    Love the set up. What did you use to affix the press and other tools to the quick release boards? Did you need to use some type of glue to keep the melamine from crumbling around whatever you used to hold the press in place?

      Thanks. The Melamine has held up really well. Didn't do anything extra to it. There are screw on T nuts under the top that accept the threaded hand knobs. www.rockler.com/screw-on-tee-nuts-choose-size-thread

    Very nice setup! I reload and I woodwork also. Wondered how you did the joinery for your plywood shelves above the bench? Dadoes? Assuming you mounted the same shelving unit to the wall or bench? French cleat? Other mechanism? Thanks.

    How did you attach the white melamine to the bench?

      I used pieces of 1" aluminum angle to attach the top to the base. The top is 2 layers. The melamine is glued to a sheet of mdf. There re a bunch of build pics in this link... flickr.com/photos/93396776@N06/albums/72157663547333758

    How big is the center area where you store your press when not in use - and also what is the base ? 3/4 MDF?

      That lower storage is 24" wide, 22" tall and 22" deep. The base structure is all milled up 2x lumber with 3/4" Melamine inserts. Here's a link to the reloading bench photo album.       Thanks for this info - trying decide if I should do the same thing- I had a similar idea but bought a butcher block countertop and was going to attach it to the top of my cleaning bench- its only 3/4 ply wood - and was going to use the inline fab mounts and build a small base like you did. I was worried about where to store the press and what to do with the holes- you just answered all of it and made my day!!! Thanks again

    What type of wood did you use for your top shelving?

      It’s multiple layers. 3/4 MDF with 3/4 Melamine glued and screwed together. Then edge banded with pine.

      Hi Larry. The drawings are in that Flickr album but there was another person that had the same issue. Might try refreshing the page. I will delete and reload them tonight so hopefully everyone can see them. Check back in the morning. Let me know if you can or can't see them tomorrow.
