The 57148 oil filter is for the Twin Cam. It has a 5 micron filter media which cause too low oil pressure at idle. For a short while the Wix website and thus O’Reilly’s catalog incorrectly listed the 57148 and 57348 (black and chrome) for all 1999 models. They had thought all models had the Twin Cam in 1999. The factory spec for the EVO filter is 21 microns.

You might consider a step to purge the oil in the engine. There's quite a bit that's in there. That way you're not leaving a measure of dirty oil to contaminate your brand new oil.
