It's great car just for more calm people. I tested Type-R and it was more engaging, louder but less comfortable and Peugeot was more subtle and easier to live with however I did not like really small speedometer. Also, when you put in Sport mode, tachometer goes red and you can't see the redline. Shifting is quite precise but shift throw is a bit too long. I really liked the seats and massage function and the steering was perfect. I really enjoyed driving this car.

270 horsepower from a 1.6 is impressive. Test drive booked next month!
Had a look at this along with the Cupra. Went for the cupra in the end but the Peugeot was a very nice car. The reason I went for the leon over the pug was tuneability. The leon with a simple map can push out 350BHP.. now that's a monster.

Mhm, some are even making 370~hp on fully stock hardware. However the 308 GTI on a tight B road will leave the Leon still. I've seen that first hand.

Beautiful car, true European hatch. In GTi version it is stunning.
If the engine noise is piped in thru the speakers, does that mean my music will be blasted thru the rear exhaust ? If so, at least the car behind me will be able to enjoy my super hits of the 80's playlist ! 80's music jokes aside, I think this car looks great. I would be very interested to test drive it and compare it to the VW gti, and Ford Focus ST. Too bad its not available in my part of the world. Nice review.

LazyApe_ I've got a 208 feline.. looking at getting a 208 by PS.. few of my mates laughed and are baffled but it's truly a great car and brand.. most people are sheep these days 👍
Hazzer as i learn more and more about cars and bikes the more a like a wider variety and more exotic models and brands, people say they arent as reliable but nowadays nothing is 100% reliable

its a good looking car, but the inside is a bit dull. dont get me wrong i like it when the they keep it simple, but golf gti looks soo much better
The speedometer does not bother at all and the climate changes slightly. Peugeot are better car than golf gti (boring),hyndai 30 n ,Honda type r .....

Lovely car and it had to be pleasure to drive it I am sure..isnt it ?.. Thats why I wanna change my 308 Hdi Sport with 150bhp after remap allready and K&N air intake performance system..so Thats gonna be a perfect and much more power choice to have as my actual car..I still love mine but this one is great hot hatch ..definitelly going for it thanks for making it easier to make a right decision with your review ;)
Good review. Nice car. It just looks too normal. It is better in the black and red paint job at least then it looks meaner.

if I spent 27.00 I would definitely go for the Honda civic type r it has got more power and very crazy looks

I would love to have this car but I think there are better options like Golf GTI/GTD, Seat Leon and Honda civic. I think even Ford fiesta ST and Focus ST are better options.
