iPhone 15 Pro, iOS 17.2.1, and the battery is draining abnormally fast.
I’m also experiencing issues with iMessage not being able to sync to iCloud and constantly displaying “Syncing Paused”
The syncing issue began at iOS 17.2 beta (final beta prior to the RC version) and hasn’t been resolved since.

I’m on the latest version on my 15 PM. The WiFi is constantly failing, it’s not subtle performance issues either, they’re major. My keyboard is also freezing, it’s extremely annoying. I haven’t noticed any battery issues.
15 Pro on 17.2.1 Battery definitely draining faster.....17.1 was the best so far.

Ich hab das 15 Pro Max ebenfalls auf iOS 17.2.1. muss aber zugeben das mit jedem Update die Fehler kleiner werden und die Batterie besser wird, deshalb von mir.. ich bin zufrieden mit dem Update 🙏🏼

iPhone 14 pro Max 17.2.1 Home & lock screen usage is higher than usual and screen idle shows 0 minutes.Only way to solve that problem was reset all settings(not erase personal data)
Agree, battery was draining fast, I was skeptical at installing the update so I ignored it but I forgot I had mine automatic downloads on so it installed at night, kinda frustrated about it.
My XS turns off Wi-Fi when locked, but while charging, Wi-Fi works fine.

Seeing the WiFi issue with my 15PM. On 6 if I break the 10 foot line of site mark the speed drops by 50%. 17.2.1 had no impact. All the rest of my WiFi 6 devices don’t show this (they are not Apple items).
7:19 my iPhone 15 Pro out of the box with voiceover on is very sketchy keypad. It will not work with slide to type it. Delays voiceover will not recognize the menu for the action button, and many many other issues, and so far no way for a blind person to use the phone without voiceover although it makes for a long battery life since you can’t use your phone half the time.
Yup, I'm facing an issue with my iPhone 14 Pro running iOS 17.2.1, the keyboard has some delay while I'm typing and the battery also drains faster than iOS 17.2

Strange, in my case, an Iphone 15 Pro Max 256Gb with iOS 17.2.1 battery on standby overnight does not drop even one percent. First time this happens in iOS 17.

All these iOS updates are either battery related or performance related could be a sales tactic to implement bugs so that the consumer will purchase the newest device.
I am still having keyboard issue on my iphone 15 pro max. There is always missed touches when typing. I am starting to feel that this is a hardware issue on all 15 pro max.

I haven’t notice battery drain issues, but half the time my phone wouldn’t connect to whoever was calling after answering the call and I don’t hear text notifications.

There is definitely a battery drain issue with 17.2.1. My iPhone 14 was getting far better battery life on 17.2. I hope Apple is looking into this problem and will correct the battery drain issue in the next update.

I didn’t update from iOS 17.2, as that software version has slightly worse battery than 17.1.x. I’m also scared to up date to iOS 17.2.1 because I’m not sure if Apple will disable the o2 sensor of my Apple Watch Series-6.
Facts…. I’m looking into that myself with the I watch ultra to see if they disable it.

I am on ios 16.3.1 on my iPhone 14 Pro Max and battery issue is not a problem. Can lasts a day with heavy use at work, web browsing, gaming, picture and video takings.

Today is the first time when could test battery in real life after updating. Battery died to 50% in 2 hours. Yes my phone is old but it held charge much better just a week ago. I am so pissed.

The battery life on my iPhone 14 isn't the greatest on either of these but on my 2018 iPad Pro playing PUBG there's lag in the controls on the glass now with 17.2.1, there wasn't on the previous version, and there's always a hard glitch when enemies are near actually that feature I kind of like ;)

You never mentioned what is fixed in 17.2.1. You also never mentioned whether you tested the 17.2.1 prior to upgrading to ensure results are accurate.

sounds about right. seems the battery drain issue just isnt solved. personally ios 17 might be the worst software in my book. these days iphone battery just isnt up to par now and it feels like they been loosing quality for their battery optimzations. hopfully ios 18 changes this.
