There is no going back when you have more animals- costs do go up , caretaker costs when your gone… vet bills, but the benefit of everyone share in the duties is priceless - not okay for just Mom! Everyone has to be on board !!
Yes! Jason, animals are the best! My husband was not an animal person, but we now have 2 mini horses, 1 mini donkey, 2 mini goats, 1 mini pig, chickens turkeys and ducks and yes 1 bunny. My husband is now Farmer Red! Do it! You will not regret it!
I love the natural flow of your raised beds so much better than a formal look. As for thr animals I am with you on that. Take Jason to see some baby goats they are so gorgeous his heart will melt, super cute and lots of fun. They are so popular at the moment in the UK there are waiting lists for them.
I absolutely LOVE that color combination in that garden!!! Potomac orange, purple zinnias, salvia, is all so GORGEOUS!!!

Hey love idk what youre going thru, maybe its the kids both being in full time school thats got you down, but just know that you will get thru this and you wont feel like this forever! And Jason definitely get the beautiful lady some animals to take up some of her time and give her something to take care of! Us mamas, especially us that choose to stay at home with our children full time even though its the toughest job(s) in the world, HAVE to have something to take care of or we feel empty. And i think that animals are just the thing to fill that hole from BOTH of her babies (pretty much her whole life) being in full time school and not with her.
P.S. maybe I am way off the mark but just wanted to speak what was on my heart. Love yall so much 💜
I envision a little delicate white something flowering in the kids flower boxes. Will help tie it all in and make the colors pop!
Absolutely loooove the colors of the flowers in your science shed bed, especially with the gorgeous new paint color of the beds.
More animals would be great but you both have to agree otherwise there will be resentment. I like how you admitted you’re the one who crook care of Prancer, no pretending the kids did It! 😊🇨🇦

Hahaha! I’m with Jason on the pets page‼️My daughters got pets as teenagers and they grew up and I’m taking care of their pets. While I love them very much, it does limit my freedom to go visit or engage on an open ended schedule. As cute as your bunny is, he reminds me of a Guinea pig!
Casey and Jason, the science shed is adorable! I love the deep greenish-teal color you used on the kids' garden beds and the science shed. It will be even sweeter once the window boxes and shutters are added, and I can't wait to see the design you paint on the door and fold-out counter. I love how you turned that trailer, which looked kind of like a chuck-wagon, into a darling science shed. I would totally love having one of those too, and I'm a great-grandma!
Now, you just need a little barn on your property to house some small outdoor animals. You already have a food source for them, extra garden veggies, and greenery! Besides, the manure they create will make excellent fertilizer for your gardens! ~Margie

I don't have grands, only fur babies, but children come over with Adults, the last 3 yrs old came over and cried because they had to leave!

I love your raised garden boxes. Window boxes all of it. The girls science center was a wonderful idea 💡. Prancer is sooo cute, I think you should have that barn with a few animals it’s seems to be very therapeutic for you as well as your gardening. Keep healthy and happy

I can’t believe how much prancer has grown! He’s so cute!!!! We got both of our girl bunnies fixed & it was a nightmare. One of them went into GI stasis & the other one ended up hating the other one & they haven’t been able to be around each other since. 😫 We have one bunny on one side of the house & the other bunny on the other side, both free roam but it kills me that they’re not bonded anymore. Honestly, your bunny would probably be better off without a companion. As much as you guys love on him & he has Fuzzy to play with, I’m sure he’s happy with his life.

Aww i know it seems like alot to take on, i thought the same thing taking on 3 kittens..😉😁😆 .It was the best decision i made...Animals and kids go hand in hand and teach kids responsibility, love, compassion, empathy, patience..Please consider i would be happy to vacay sit. Your property would be complete. And inspire more garden visions😉...

Love all the beautiful bright colors in your garden. They bring such joy! I always knew you really made the science shed for yourself… lol! I would have done the same! You are an amazing mom, providing beautiful experiences for your girls. How about painting the opening window/table on the door with black chalkboard paint so the girls can draw/make signs/ messages on it? They could pretend it’s a restaurant and write the menu, etc. You definitely need to get some mini animals on the farm!!! 🐴🌻🪴love the new videos… keep them coming!💕

it was literally just called lilac zinnia😂🤣 they made it pretty easy., and i think the seed was from burpee!

Wow! I've never seen snapdragons like that! I'm still pretty new to the flower garden side of gardening and absofruitly LOVING it! Going to order a package for next year! All of your flower beds are gorgeous!! Edit - just got to the part about the Sciene Shed. Oh my gosh. LOVE it! I wish we didn't have such a dinky yard to include something like that for our son. How thoughtful. Lucky gals! =)

At least get some chickens. They are easy enough and can go a few days on the proper set up. They are entertaining, sweet and of course will provide bonus food for your family! Garden is looking great!

Your Zinnias looked beautiful how do you prevent mildew from happening. I tried them this year. They were gorgeous at the beginning of the season, but the mildew took over. What to do - please help.

Oh Jason you should thank you wife for being so nice and ask you and work with you for more animals. I usually just show up with them. My husband gets annoyed and then says whatever then I see him petting them🤷. You have a chance to pick with her. I vote skip the miniature horse and go straight for horse. I had ponys and horses and really loved horses. Like big dogs. And by the way get a dog too🤣

what are those small purple pom pom flowers in the back of your garden bed, the tall ones
verbena bonariensis, our favorite butterfly attractor. Keep in mind they do reseed if you don’t cut the flowers off once they are done, but we allow ours to reseed, so all of these you see are from fallen seeds.
