This is so true about hoarding plants...every yr I vow I won’t but come next early spring, I get greedy and cross my fingers they survive. I love all you plant but look forward mostly to your window box, hanging baskets and planters. Thank you for sharing!
Oh gosh thank you! Zone 4 here and my House is full of plants waiting, waiting, until they can go outside permanently, I have many seed starts as well and found that putting them in my ovens ( I have 3 including the microwave) with just the light on at night it keeps them warm and moist and I swear they sprout and grow every time I do this!!
Casey, I'm glad that you addressed the use of the roundup (which I know you don't use) pump sprayer, in answer to people questioning it (I enjoy reading the comments). Your videos are always so informative and helpful. Thank you!
Enjoyed your video, I am new to your channel, so I have been watching past videos, this made me laugh because I think about what I have had to go through over the years, I always start seeds early or buy my plants, put them on the back porch in the sun on nice days, then have to carry them all in on cold nights or cover if frost, I don't have a green house and have cats that will mess with them, so they end up in the bathrooms in the tub , the neighbors if they see me probably think I am a crazy women carrying all my plants in and out of the house lol.
I love your style, your teaching, even the way you chat with a little kitty. I always wondering how you balance this business, parenting and family. You are rock!
I’ve been gardening for many years, but I just learned a lot from you! I just love how simply and clearly you explain and demonstrate things👏👍. You clearly know so much, but you are also good at conveying that knowledge (and we all know that those two things do not often go together😉)
Wow, finally someone that can speak normal on how to take care of plants 🤓🤗. I had some issues with my flowers as you described, after this video I’m going to get me the supplies you showed to help my plants to thrive. Very informative, thanks so much for sharing this information in a very simple way. 👍🤗
Excellent information! Last year I bought annuals too early. The flowers did indeed "retire". I had to bite the bullet and cut them back....they really bounced back and thrived the entire season!!!! By the way, congratulations on 20k!!! I predict that # will triple in 6 mos or less.....deservingly so 💚🌱
Hello! Thank you for all your support and help regarding all things gardening. Truly a life saver. Also you, your husband have thee best energy and always give me the push I need to stop overthinking and do what I can. How do you feel about superthrive? It says a drop for a gallon. Any tips on Gardenias and Rose's? Thanks so much
New to your channel. This is such a great video idea. I recently bought a little greenhouse so I could shop a little ahead because my favorite greenhouse gets SO crowded that it makes it unpleasant to shop and perusing the greenhouse is one of my favorite things to do normally. So just going even 2 weeks prior to frost cuts down on the crowds drastically. Then I come home with all of these plants so afraid I won’t care for them properly. So thankful for knowing this is the kind of video your audience would find useful.
Casey, what brilliant info! I've been bringing home loads of plants like this for years, and some things I knew, but others I had no idea about. Thank you! Also, I think your channel is getting ready to explode! Can't believe you don't have more subscribers.
This video came at the perfect time for us here in colder regions. Thanks for covering all the bases and showing us exactly how you maintain your plants. Congratulations on 20k subscribers!
I appreciate this video so much Casey!! I have folding tables filled with plants throughout my house and garage😅 and this is the exactly information I needed to know! Thank you for sharing with us!!🙏💕
Thank you for this wonderful video. It was educational and very enjoyable to watch. I seem to deal mostly with rust on hydrangeas, earwigs on other areas of the garden (and in pots), and lots of tiny flying insects on my arborvitaes. Wonder if I could spray everything with a similar mixture like yours :( Take care beautiful lady and lovely family. God Bless you all. XOXO from Canada.
Very informative! Do you have any videos that take you thru the seed planting and beyond as detailed as this? Love to have some tips and tricks on that aspect as well because with my love for flowers it can get pretty pricey with plants. Thanks in advance!
Do you have a crystal ball? My favorite flower house opened just yesterday and I went and bought 25 plants without a real plan because I only received the email announcing they'd be opening for the season the night before. We finally have two 60+ days starting tomorrow but then back down in the 50's so I don't want to plant things up yet and didn't know how to store them. You once again came through with a wealth of information, thank you!👏😻
The way l check my plants is to stick my finger in the pot if your finger comes out with dirt don't water if it comes out clean it is dry and needs water
Very informative. Love it! One question... I bought a bunch of garden products such as grass seeds, insecticides, weed killers, etc., a few years ago(about 3 to be honest), and can't find an expiration date. Can I still use them this year or, are they too old to do their job?
With Mothers Day around the corner i'd love to get my wife a gardening tool set. Are there any sets that you could recommend or are there any suggestions that you could make in that regard? Thank you!
What do you think about mosquito bits for Gnats? My vegetable bed got attacked😔 or would Monterey help with gnats also? New at gardening. Thanks in advanced.
i would add neem oil with the mixture, it’s more of a systemic. gnats cause issues under the soil because that’s where the larvae are feeding on your plants.
I noticed you are using a Roundup container...I have seen so many commercials on TV about how dangerous it is causing cancer...what is your opinion on this? Is it ok for us to buy it?
you could use neem oil and the soap, we used to use that, but we found that the Monterey was way more effective and didn’t have to be applied as often which took up so much time.
Fantastic video! I learn so much from you. Thank you for sharing your knowledge in such an informative, positive way. Quick question, How much soap do you use per gallon with the Monterey?
Very nice video thank you for sharing.

I’m so glad the timing of this worked good for you! Thank you so much for letting me know!
Oh my gosh! You need to build lots of tables on wheels to roll out all of those flats everyday! Make a video of the project.
Great info, and you explained it so well. Thank you . How early can you start to spray for bugs
Thank you! You could start right now, we always use Monterey organic
The way l check my plants is to stick my finger in the pot if your finger comes out with dirt don't water if it comes out clean it is dry and needs water
That’s perfect!
Great info!
Thank you!!

It may work, everything may just be less potent, the germination rate may not be as good with the grass seed
Hi, just clicked the link to buy AgroThrive Organic Fertilizer but it took me to Meyers Soap Amazon page. Thanks
With Mothers Day around the corner i'd love to get my wife a gardening tool set. Are there any sets that you could recommend or are there any suggestions that you could make in that regard? Thank you!
This is my favorite hand rake in the garden amzn.to/2WtlRDi

The Lawrence Garden Farm thank you 😊
What growing zone are you guys located? I was just questioning why wait to plant. I'm zone 6a and it is plant time here!
Cate Burritt we are zones 4-5 here in the Midwest, state of Wisconsin,We aren’t clear of frost for another few weeks
These UA-camrs that have beautiful plant videos always have parents that own a plant store, lol
what is the difference from seed geraniaunms to the rest of them
Video idea: what flowering plants not to dead head or clip ☺
I noticed you are using a Roundup container...I have seen so many commercials on TV about how dangerous it is causing cancer...what is your opinion on this? Is it ok for us to buy it?
we use the container, Not the round up
Somebody reached 50k subscribers ☺️
With lots of plants the Espoma liquid organic fertilizer is VERY expensive, what other options are there?
you could use neem oil and the soap, we used to use that, but we found that the Monterey was way more effective and didn’t have to be applied as often which took up so much time.
I meant as a substitute for the espoma organic fertilizer....
Love the video. Why so grainy?
The quality? if so, your video quality settings must be set low. in the corner of the video there is an icon you can click for 1080👍
Fantastic video! I learn so much from you. Thank you for sharing your knowledge in such an informative, positive way. Quick question, How much soap do you use per gallon with the Monterey?
💕
Round up 😂😅😅 good video BTW
?? Are you talking about the sprayer? We don’t use round up, they’re 2 gallon sprayer‘s are just the cheapest to buy for mixing our organics👍
But why u dont have a single rose plant?? 🙄🙄
hai Sela hey Lana,
