As an American that lived in Japan I have great respect for the Japanese people. As a guitar player my first one was made in Japan and now have several.
I really appreciate that the bodies me necks are handmade using jigs and not CNC cut. These look like awesome quality guitars. I’ve owned many Japanese guitars and still have several of them and there’s something special about Japanese made guitars.
Other high end guitar manufacturers use CNC machines to produce amazing guitars (like Novo); I wonder if it would be viable for Deviser to use a CNC machine in order to reduce the time to build guitars whilst still maintaining same high quality standards?
I watch a lot of guitar making videos and different factory tours, and this one totally fascinated me. It's amazing how different cultures can make the same product, and the processes are so different. Very cool.
The shop is really organized and clean. Shows how serious they are. As a Korean-American, I would get a guitar if it was made in Japan over a US made one if they had the option...this is why I own a bunch of Charvel/Jackson guitars.
It's not only they look great, the process of building those guitars saves lots of work. Also, the original version of Telecaster are (at least to me) uncomfortable to play, Deviser seem to had perfected the design.
The world’s boutique luthiers need to watch this. Making an instrument don’t need to be so difficult!. As long as the process results in a guitar. Its amazing to watch this 👍🏻
I have a few "Made in Japan" guitars and bass. 80s and 90s Charvel, Jacksons, Kramer American (read the body was made by ESP), and an Ibanez 20th Anniversary RG 550. All great guitars in their own right that I love to play.
This is an old school machine shop . Jigs and fixtures . Presses and hand routers ,drill presses . When machines took the place of hand tools ,people said the same thing . Now automatic machines have done the same to manual machines .
My first generation (late 1990s) Bacchus and Riverhead Vintage Series (Fender copy and finished in lacquer) basses were made much better than MIJ Fender of the same era. Also, I have the first generation Bacchus Handmade series (2002) basses finished in oil. The company was then known as Headway before changing the name to Deviser.
It seems that they do a very good job. But anyway, something that I always wonder is why those who mass-produce instruments; they do not shield the electronics cavities; especially when using singlecoil pickups.

The recessed neck plate and individual solder connections are a great touch. Beautiful craftsmanship.
I'm going to do that individual point solder to my guitars, that looks so nice and more clean. Can't believe I haven't thought of that.

Over all - Japan 🇯🇵 is a nation with superb craftsmanship - ❤️!!!

Love the Japanese small workshop video! They make great products with semi-automatic tools!

*PEOPLE ARE AMAZING! PEOPLE CAN DO ANYTHING)) GOOD LUCK TO ALL* 😍
Owning a Bacchus bass makes this documentary so good to watch, amazing craftmanship from Deviser and Momose
Excellent! Please make an acoustic guitar production video too!
Thanks!

As a luthier/builder of 20 years +, this brought a huge smile to my face. Awesome post! Thx😉
I’ got 3 Japanese guitars. Perfect instruments. Thanks, Japanese masters!
Japanese craftmens are superb! Greetings from Sicily East Coast

I agree with you about the original Tele. I love how they sound though.
wooow, amazing and superb craftmanship, congrats to all the Deviser team 😃😉

The japanese are masters of their craft, no one comes close to their perfection
I prefer Japanese guitars, I have Burny's Greco's Epiphone's Orville's Tokai etc....they are far better
Quy trình làm Đàn guitar điện Nhật Bản tuyệt vời. Những người làm lão luyện Japan 🇯🇵👍.
What happened to Swee Lee music shop in HCMC?
I want one, made to perfection.
What Craftsmanship!

Very nice. I've never seen a big belt sander like that before, that's really cool.
Wow! Excellent craftsmanship, impressive!
Amazing workforce and company. Bravo!
They are still making guitars in Matsumoto? I'm glad to hear that. Some great models came from there back in the days.

I am a proud owner of one Momose. Really good guitars. Good Job…

CONGRATULATIONS ! ( by a professional Guitarist Italy )
It is called a Timesaver. The sanding belt rolls freely and contact is made where needed with the small wooden pad.
Formidable artisanat japonais!
Japanese make the best everything.
Très, très beau travail !
👍👌waaaw, it's so beautiful, and color too 🎌💝
A WORK OF ART 🎨 ✨️ 💖...

This was absolutely fascinating to watch. I’m definitely looking up this company. Would love to own one of their guitars…
Jepang memang rujukan bagi ASIA.dlm hal tekhnologi ❤
very nice guitars
great video. really wanted to see the cavity routing and wire channels being added.
i thought electric guitar is build based on metal, is it comes from wood too?
most electric guitars are made of wood. metal guitars are very heavy unless they are hollow.
@@sommelierofstench arghhhh so thats why, for so long i though it is whole metal

Beautiful Instrument.
Japan excelente calidad.
world best made in japan of guitar
Che spettacolo 👍🏻💪🏻💯
Très intéressant, merci!
Beautiful.
I like guitar from jpn..the reason is..quality..
i need one of these guitars !
Japanese Master Craftmanship
❤MADE IN JAPAN❤.
Beautiful work, no question
love my mls1, always a smile in my life !
When they use good wood, they are makeing good guitar's.
Wondering why, in this day and age, Truss Rods with Heel Adjustment are still being installed.
wow. your muscle memory is so on-point
So meticulous. I want a strat from them.
Simplesmente Fantástico...
Good job... Say hallo from Indonesia
