This was so incredibly helpful! Thank you very much. I have had the 2g and 5 g units for 4 years with no trouble at about 80 download speed. When I replaced my ASUS router, none of them work. I purchased a new KuWfi unit that is both 2g and 5G. With your video I was able to get the two units configured and connected. With the previous units I was able to connect a router at the slave end. For the life of me I cannot get the new units to acknowledge a router. Also, I can only use the 2g. The lights are on so it appears 5G is there. Should 2g and 5G be named the same? Finally, I am only getting a download speed of about 4 with this new unit. If you can offer any insight it would be greatly appreciated!
Hi, how are you? I'd like to thank you for the video because it helped much more than the brand's own manual. However, I have a question regarding transmitting speeds above 100mbps, as I can only achieve up to that limit, even though the device is theoretically capable of up to 900mbps. If you could help me, I would be immensely grateful. Thank you very much in advance. Greetings from Brazil.
I bought a KuWfi WB 2F01 and after 2 days testing I found that LAN can be used also as WAN. For pairing Master and Slave, I press reset at the same time. To enter set up into Master, I used a LAN cable from Master LAN to laptop port RJ45, because WiFi connection was unstable. It is required to set up in Manual IV4 reading procedure. The H or Master can be conected as Access Point to internet with a LAN cable from router to LAN port beside POE port electric power device. Best regards
I’ve got a ton of questions bc ive fought this setup since I’ve had them. But….. saying I can get them connected and I want a security camera on the front of my property, on the pole, what all do I need? The kuwfi bridge, a solar power panel, and the camera? Is that it?
The come paired out of the box. The important thing is to make sure the host is at the source of your internet and the client would be at the camera. If it an IP camera, you would need to hook the iP camera into a poe switch that has the client bridge plugged into it as well. That will work. If you have messed with the configuration settings of the bridges and they are no longer working, we have a video on resetting and repairing them too.
Olá amigo...sou do brasil comprei um par aparelhos desse ....e nao tava conseguido configurar..ate q achei esse video seu ....dai deo certinho..como vc disse nao e tao dificil quanto achava..muito obrigado por este video explicativo..
I used LAN for login but the last 3 IP digits must be others than the used for WiFi connection. The LAN link is more stable than WiFi and I could not finish the set up with WiFi link because was disconnecting before to complete the procedure. The LAN port also works as WAN when you use POE to supply energy to WAN port.
I have the KuWfi setup and working as a P2P bridge. I want to add another remoten client radio for P2mP. Can I program/pair the new third remote radio somehow via the admin UI to bridge with the Master or do I have to bring down the existing radios and reset all three radios at the same time in close proximity to create the P2mP setup (1H-2C) ?
To be honest, I use EnGenius Enstation5 or 6 bridges for that scenario, which is point to multi point. I have never used these KuWfi bridges in a point to multipoint. set up. You may be able to do that manually, I will have to look into it and possibly do a video in the future. You could most likely make one a hose and the other 2 clients and pair accordingly.
Hello bro ... Can I use this product as a transmitter and receiver, like the Nano Station 5, and connect it to the router and use the Internet from it?
Can i use this not for camera ؟ Can I use this product as a transmitter and receiver, like the Nano Station 5, and connect it to the router and use the Internet from it?
I am having a heck of a time even connecting to them. In instrucfions it asks to have ip address changed but when i try i get an error cant save ip settings check one or more snd try again.
I need help. So I am trying to get internet access in my shop. I follows your instructions and got my units to finally pair. I have a router connected to the unit at my shop , I can connect to my WiFi from my router or I can connect to the WiFi from the unit, however connections are good for a short time and drop out, they reconnected and do the same thing over and over. How do I prevent this so I have a steady stream of internet to my shop.
@@WentworthCCTVso first I should clarify I do not lose bridge connection. I lose internet access through the bridge. I will have my internet access drops out and reconnects again ver and over. Yes to line of sight, As far as the dhcp settings is that in the Lan settings in on the IP mode?
@@WentworthCCTV ok, so the problem was a bad Ethernet cable. So my host is run on a long Ethernet cable roughly 165ft only getting about 9mbps through it. I am using cat5e cable. Do you think it would help if I went to cat6a
Just wondering why I continue to get a “network connection error” and “unrecognized error” when I try to connect to the default “wireless 2.4G-OA32BC” network (that’s the only new network I see after plugging my H into the router and the C into POE to power). I’m using the default password they sent as 66666666. 1. I’m trying to get WiFi to my shop so I can use WiFi security cameras 2. If I do get the WiFi to actually work, Do I have to connect the C to something in the shop, or does it just provide WiFi from the bridge from the H connected to Starlink router? Mine are synced perfectly, so no issues there, just issues connecting to the new network. Thanks!
I’m having trouble When I connect my WiFi bridge to my home router I get WiFi in my shop but it intermittently disconnects WiFi in my home. Any help would be greatly appreciated
I was able to follow this and get them connected but it still doesn't connect to my camera. I even changed the IP's of the KuWifi's to the same subnet as the camera and it doesn't connect even though the signal is strong. Is there something I'm missing?
If you tried to reset it using this process and it still does not work, I would suggest the AP set is bad. Have you tried plugging directly into the host bridge to make sure it is giving live internet through the secondary LAN port?
Thank you for this guide. Kuwfi’s own tutorials are astonishingly poor quality. I would be lost without this video. Thanks again!
Glad it helped!
Best video I have seen on logging into these bridges to adjust settings. I can now get them mounted and put them to use. Thanks
Awesome!

Which cable did you use to hard wire for log in WAN or LAN
Wan goes to PoE injector LAN to hard wire camera, PC or IP phone

Been using a pair of these for a few years to get internet in our shop. Got disconnected for remodeling, and now I'm fighting it.

Do the bridges have line of sight and are they both configured with DHCP settings??

Yes, cat6 cable may help, but I have plenty of cat5e cables that length that work. Sounds like you are isolating the problem though.

These are wireless bridges and not routers. You should have a router on the client.
hello what is the max distance from the bridge because I can't synchronize them when they are barely 500m from each other

THANK YOU FOR YOUR TIME. How can I lock or set P value on client device? It changes every three days and can't recive data from master. It's annoying.
Just change it from gateway controlled to static IP in network settings
Funciona muito bem...vai longe sinal..

If the bridges are working the camera should work. They are just making a virtual wire.
Hi. Mine are paired but the client has now Wi-Fi signal. Can you help please?
My problem is no matter what I cannot connect to the client. It emits no wifi and plugging into Ethernet still gives no access.
If you tried to reset it using this process and it still does not work, I would suggest the AP set is bad. Have you tried plugging directly into the host bridge to make sure it is giving live internet through the secondary LAN port?
