      @@elliotbaxter5709 there are some oregon drums listed as compatible with some echo saws, not sure about this saw specifically but I found out the best setup is with a rims instead of drums, you can just switch out the 3/8 rim and bar for a 1/4 pretty quick, available everywhere, only the higher end saws come with rims most are drums

  • @jamesward5721
    @jamesward5721 2 роки тому

    I have the older model - it is an epic saw. I reckon this saw will be a little beast - I have worked its older brother close to death - it refuses to die. Starts second pull after 1 pull on choke - every damn time. Predictable & reliable - which I value. Put it this way - the only other saw I'd "Like" to own is a Stihl MS881 - all the other saws bore me & I own a lot of saws. I pick the Echo up above everything else daily. I think if you owned an Echo 35 series & a Stihl 881, you'd have the entire world of chainsaws covered.

BK was saying they don’t make a 1/4 pitch for that. So I’ll put a 16 bar on it and wait till I have some bucks. This saw for a starter? Or buy a 361P?

    Hey Ryan, I am just a new carver currently using a Stihl MS170 with 16" 3/8 Stilh bar. I am looking for a 2nd saw to put a dime tip carving bar to get better details and I am digging this 3510. My challenge is I am pretty remote in Bella Coola BC... and I have searched and searched for a dealer near me and can't even find one in or near Williams Lake. Being a BC lad yourself, wondering if you have any words of wisdom for local dealers (well nothing is local to the Valley, but within reason) where I can get Echo Saws and Canon carving bars? And you've probably named it already but I think it should be called Mouse in honour of the cool shirt you were wearing when you got it.
