Growing up I never knew what that place was but that particular area always stayed clean so knew it was something about it. I miss my Lockland Panther Days to be honest because everything I've learned far as how to survive in life & never give up LOCK👑LAND OHIO 45215 showed me 💯
Been through Lockland hundreds of times and new why is was named, but never the location of the canal! I will be stopping at Veterans Park next time I head to Cincinnati. Thanks for another great video!
Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge of the history of Lockland. I knew it was the canal and locks and the Paper Manufacturing that helped develop the town. Thanks for the info and the photo of the bandstand. Lots of history there. Also who the names, the streets are named after.
Great presentation but I was SO hoping to get to see the inside of such a unique structure. I believe there's a similar structure (with a similar story) in Osgood, IN.. The Osgood Police Dept. is or at least was housed in the basement of that bandstand. Would LOVE to see the interior there too!!! :^)
I have offered to do a documentary on Elmwood Place several years ago but the Mayor at the time wasn't interested. Maybe I should call them up again. Do you live in Elmwood Place?
Hi Lydia.....No, they did not. It was designed to house the post in the basement area, however, after it was built they agreed not to move into it citing it was too small.
Thank You John Campbell (class of 1978) for bringing our hometown alive
Thanks so much Terri !
