- Vans VS Adidas? Which company is worthy of your money? Which skateboard shoe will help you become a better skater? Who makes the best skate shoes? Vans or Adidas?
Based on my last 4 pairs of skate shoes, I'll be answering these questions in this video.
Those were not old skools but they were eras rowan zorilla colorway

For me Adidas, they last longer also have a lot of board feel , only time where my Adidas have died is where I’ve kickflipped so much the front have died. I had vans but I feel they died too quick. Adidas normally last me 2/2.5 months of heavy skating

New Balance 306 Jamie Foys are definitely in the top 5 skate shoes ever made, 110% recommend and all of the colourways look dope
It's kinda sucks these vids from him aren't as successful. They're really chill when I have the free time to watch them.
It definitely depends on what model shoe you buy, and if you find a cool looking shoe do some research on it and make sure it's in your best interest

Try Cariuma! I'm a beginner skater but every experience I have had with these is great, and I really have had them before I got into skating, and I will say they are by far the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned; full stop.

The Adidas 3st .003s are the best shoes I've ever skated. Best boardfeel and they last way longer than anything else I've tried.
Which Skate shoes have impact protection? I've only skated Adidas, Vans and Adio and none of them had impact protection...
both shoe brands make a variety of shoe models. you can't really make a comparison like this unless you're compairing specific shoe models that have similar designs. the way you're doing it, the only real comparison you can make is the quality of the materials. which i believe vans has more consistent quality.

Adidas shoes are a lot more varied than Vans, though. Pretty much every Vans shoe is vulcanized, meanwhile Adidas makes almost every type of sole for skate shoes

Agreed, long live the 90s!! Though I gotta ask, how are the Sabres? I’ve been thinking about picking one up but the price is a bit steep. How’s the cushion on them? As for the fit?
@@megalostylo2043 Hi Megalo. first the size - I am EU 44 / UK 9.5, but I am buying my Sabres as 9 or 43 max. Once they break up, they might be a bit too lose (or they are a bit too lose for me) and I end up tithing them up very hard. Go for half size smaller than your normal shoes.
Insole - made out of fucking paper, I bin it straight away and put either the one from Nike SB or Footprint gamechanger, but I have done the same to my vans tnt - unless they have supercush like skateboarding bruh's vans Kyle Walks pro models vans insoles are shyte as well.
But the air cushion does the job! I am landing primo non stop, especially now when Im trying to learn 36 flip and no problem. Amazing feature, just like if you compare hard tail bike to full suspension lol. Only problem is after 2/3 months it can break and squeak a bit when you walk, but those shoes are not for walking but heavy duty skateboarding.
And the best thing - durability. My nike dunk lows lasted me 1 and half month the longest. Vans - a total joke 2 weeks (tnt's, kyle walks about 3 weeks). Maranas 3 weeks, DC 2 weeks. This shoe is lasting me for 2 months at least, and I am talking summer months when I am skating every day for at least 2-3 hours. It has incredible value to money, and here in the UK pre-covid I used to buy them on sale for like 40 pounds, so you cant go better than this. I can get this shoe on amazon or one of the skateshop for like £60.00/£70.00 and this is amazing value for such good shoe. If you dont skate daily, maybe once or twice a week, one pair will last you for half year no prob.
Board feel is alright. My tnt's were superior to this, but its on pair with maranas and I would say a bit better than nike sb dunk lows. I could flick better with dunks but slippery AF on the griptape.
Overall:
-durability 9/10 (minus -1 point for squeaky air cushion lol)
-value for money 8/10 (10/10 if its on sale or promotion)
-comfort 8/10
-the look - personal opinion, I think they rock. No one else skates shoes like this which makes you stand out in the skatepark among the others lol.

Vans are dope but I’ve found the only vans good for skating that last are any of the vans pros, in my opinion Nike sb is a little overrated and over hyped, but other than that the shoes that I think last the best are the vans pros or the lakais.

New Balance 533v2 are for me best shoes i ever skated. They are little nightmare to break in because cupsoles, but durability and feel when you break them in is worth it.

You should check out New balance 288s's they suprised me with how good they are
Dc pure are the most durable and comfortable I have found if you like board feel they take that away a little bit but they are such a good shoe. Also they feel broken in on first day
