These videos (throwbacks) are by far the best openings you do. The history, sound of the card shuffling, and the opening of the packs are second-to-none. Sorry, I am having a moment here. Just a huge fan of the 80s cards. Thanks for this, Erik!
Am I alone in thinking Hershiser should be in the HOF? Not just because of his spectacular 88 season, but 200+ career wins, 2,000+ career strikeouts, Cy Young, MVP, World Series, record 59 scoreless innings pitched. Gold Glove, Silver Slugger...
The card collation was great on this box. They can't all be winners, but I would think that anyone working on a set would be pretty happy. The miscuts happened a lot during the 80's, I bought a lot of cards during that time and it was a bummer to get packs like that. I stopped collecting in the 90's and just started again after watching your videos here recently. Most of my cards are gone from that time, but I did save some of my 60's and 70's cards. Thanks again!
What i like about Eric and brother to is he gets happy and excited the same if he pulls 79 Smith or 85 Clemens. Just enjoys it the same. Its cool and he is the most knowledgeable you tube guys about cards and baseball
The 1985 Fleer break is live on our channel now, if anyone wants to check it out! We had similar luck to Erik, and have a special guest sit in for the break.
Great break Erik! And a nice comeback for BBCE😅! Any chance of you being brave and reviewing your MLB predictions for this year? I see Giraffe Neck Marc made a highly entertaining and honest one. As always a very enjoyable & watchable video and I hope you and the family are doing well😎⚾️👍
These were great looking and feeling cards. Just alot of them. But I really mark 1988 as the overflood of junk wax in full swing. But it really was starting in mid 80s.
My guy who I used to,and still don’t like,is former St.Louis Rams/Arizona Cardinals Quarterback Kurt Warner.Never had anyone I really disliked in baseball.
Anybody wanna buy what's left of my collection ? Got some 71s to 2000s. Hank aaron, Pete rose, Perez, bench , Ryan. Mattingly rookies, puckets Canseco's etc.
Brian M, lucky........ Tommy John was famous for his own surgery by itself, and he pitched forever and was a pretty darn good pitcher, never great, but still deserves Hall of Fame entry.
Uh, WFT? Hershiser, Davis, and Saberhagen don't demand good rookie-card values? Kids in the 80's kicked my ass for calling "I'm Eric Davis" before they did in fantasy wiffle-ball games! And, Hershiser sold us flippin' Pizza Hut pizzas!
Its sad how much unopened boxes like this one are going for considering they printed millions of these card with such poor quality that are basically worth nothing...
Can't be a coincidence that Randy Bush and Rusty Kuntz were back to back, can it?

He is borderline. Overall, his numbers are NOT outstanding..
He had to many average seasons hell they won't even put Curt Schilling in
@@MrK623 compare John Smoltz stats to his Schilling not in because of politics that all
@@ohioarrowheads7977 I totally agree and this is coming from a lifelong Giants fan. I remember all our problems with Orel
Wow ... thanks for that hot pack. Clemens and Puckett in the same pack. Can’t complain. You can have the Van Slyke for your PC if you’d like it.
in 1985 Pete Rose was THE MAN. Everyone wanted Pete Rose cards.
Pete Rose has always been my favorite player. I watched the Big Red Machine growing up. Those teams were the BEST EVER.....in any era.....
Sweet '85 Fleer TBT! Awesome to see the RC's pulled. Thanks for sharing!
Throwback Thursday is my favorite. Keep them coming, thanks.
I love the pause when he hit the Rusty "K" card. We all know what you were thinking :)
Kevin Wade I have one of those lol from 81 donruss

I love how simplistic these were. I remember getting a few of these myself when I was pretty young. Great opening🤘🏼
Full Spectrum Odyssey No kidding - the Clemens and Puckett cards were beautiful in their simplicity.
Love the 85 sets. Fleer Grit has always been my favorite sound although a pain to sift through.

Awesome product. Spotty quality control, which is typical of the time, but excellent collation as well too. Solid box
🔥Wow Brian had the heater pack! Insane how good that Clemens looks.🔥

Mattingly belongs in the HOF!!!
Overall nice box Erik. So cool you pulled the Clemens and Puckett. Thanks for sharing this with us.
Good you finally get a decent box from the bbce
Nice box Erik! In my opinion, 82 Fleer through 85 Fleer are really great sets!
Solid Break!!! I enjoyed it!!! Thanks Jabs Family
sorry was on vacation the last few weeks, glad to be back in vancouver watching jabs family, time to get back into a break
you passed Langston.....I was surprised you don’t notice, but talked about wanting to pull him lol
Video starts at 14:28 everything prior is junk.
If Brian sends the video of these cards being opened he'll get 2 PSA 10's
85 Fleer are great looking cards. Nice stuff
Best card content on youtube ! Keep up the good work.
Good stuff! What a great set. This is going to be our next break. Can't wait!

Love how that Eric show card had a high Marlboro ad in the background
Great borders imo love the look
This is the best set of cards with the best Stickers!
Great break! I found it odd that ALL the 1/2 cards had both cards in the same pack and almost NO Yankees cards. But definitely an unsearched box!
Good looking set....
As a baseball noob i really like the logo stickers, helps me get acquainted with the teams, hello from wales fella
One of my favorite sets of all time!
Rusty Kuntz was actually a key component on the '84 Tigers, here and there.
I like this set. Like the grey border. Maybe I'm in the minority
I remember opening these cards as a kid
Love the Throwbacks! Was that a Jose Rio Rookie I saw??🤣🤣🤣
I love Pete Rose Expos cards. The 1984 Topps Traded is a classic.
Jerry Reuss looks about 65 years old on that card. I wonder if he looked the exact same when he did reach 65, or did he look 140?
I thought you pulled a Langston early on, nice box. When there were miscuts and an off center behind it did they give an extra card in the pack?
The Don Mattingly from this set is valuable as is the regular Pete Rose card.
I got a complete set of these in a collection I Bought a month or so ago, was Very Pleased It was COMPLETE.
I still hate Dennis Martinez for hitting Puckett in the face. Puckett was my favorite player growing up

I love the ‘85 issues.
14:33 for an epic pack
Anybody wanna buy what's left of my collection ? Got some 71s to 2000s. Hank aaron, Pete rose, Perez, bench , Ryan. Mattingly rookies, puckets Canseco's etc.
Love these cards!!
Does Fleer make cards anymore?
First the Rickey then Nolan...then comes the mega pack....hafe way done and might be the best tbt...
Brian M, lucky........
Tommy John was famous for his own surgery by itself, and he pitched forever and was a pretty darn good pitcher, never great, but still deserves Hall of Fame entry.
Rob Deer would be MVP 4 out 4 last seasons
Love the Eric Davis card
Jabs the langston was in the winfield pack.....
No Sandberg 😥
Love 1985 fleer
Rusty Kuntz?? Lmfao
Way to go brian
Clemens is still worth 20 it used to be over a 100 bucks
