For the 3rd and final episode on the rust free survivor Chevy S10 Blazer I replace the broken power steering reservoir, with junkyard fabricated parts, and replace the broken tailgate lock assembly. This has been a fun vehicle to get running and road worthy for my friend. It will live on as the UA-cam channel @BoostedStreetJunk bought it and will be turning it into something special. Go check out their channel and don't forget I'm on Facebook and Instagram. Let me know what you want to see as I currently have 6 cars to work on.
I think I'm going to start a Junkyard Fabrication Series as so many vehicles have a lack of parts availability that can be solved with some junkyard sourcing and modification.
Just saw a comment you made on another channel. About your channel. Had to jump over and see your videos. I love it you already have a shirt and bumper sticker. I just got my first batch of stickers for my channel.
Thanks. Some good friends have a vinyl cutter so I was able to have some stuff made as a test run. If they ever decide to ship my order I'll be getting some 3" stickers of my UA-cam logo. If you'd like one send me a way to contact you to my email 6percentrecycled@gmail.com.
I just subscribed to you're channel as well.
TY! attempting to replace my 93 blazer tailgate latch
Awesome👍
Does your tail latch make noise down the road by the way love the content
I fixed this for a friend, so I'm not sure if it rattles or not. The latch assembly can be adjusted to tighten up and prevent rattles/ road noise. Also check the seal as replacing it if it's worn out help with road noise. Thanks. I'm glad you like the content👍
Well done!
Since it has a new lock, are there 3 keys to that Blazer now?
Doors, Ignition, tailgate?
Yes. There wasn’t budget to rekey the back and I’m not positive that you can do so.
I just seen your S10 Blazer video I don't know if you have heard of LMC truck but if you have not looked them up if you are ever working on another S10 or S10 Blazer they have a lot of parts for the older S10 style I have a 1990 and a 1993 S10 I've always had S10 since I was a teenager and I am 41 years old I've always had decent looks with s10s yes sometimes you have some I guess you call it stumbling blocks or headaches occasionally but I think they're fairly decent machines for what they are anyways try and see truck if you're ever looking for parts hard to find parts that is
