The Sedan Delivery sounds absolutely incredible Matt, just by the videos I’ve seen him in I can tell Evan really likes his Uncle Matt. I’m not sure if Evan knows how to drive a stick or not especially those ole LaSalle transmissions that you use in your hot rods but I think It would be cool if Evan would be able to drive one of them to one of the local car shows that you go to. Just think of how cool it would make him feel pulling up in one of your cars. Myself as a teenager in Pittsburgh in the 70’s a friend of the family did this for me and I tell ya I was on top of the world. Anyhow another cool video as always, the best hot rod video on UA-cam ( in my opinion ) keep them coming. Dave.
Sounds Awesome , Matt ! Great tone , & good oil pressure at idle warmed up too . Just needs some street miles to seat the rings in the cylinders fully . Great job guys ! Good to see your nephew still helping out there , the next generation of auto enthusiasts , getting the best of know-how from a man who is still doing it ! The place looks nice , by-the-way ! All cleaned up .
Your wheel finishes are better than what I'm running, fortunately I like buying parts. When that panel gets proper paint it's gonna be a master piece. Glass packs all I use now and the closer to the ends of the pipes the better they sound, and I also build exhausts from mandrel pre-bends, cheap and easy.
Great combination - far better than my chestnut 221 cu in Farelane 500 in 1962! Two Ford 850 tractor mufflers and no crossover, reverb rattled ever cabin interior panel.
The beauty of the sedan can always be improved, the stance, wheels are what makes it, now the muffler-ed flathead now combines the look with sound; Perfect Matt!!!
Sounds really great with that cam, and great stance with those bigs and littles! Was hoping to go along for a ride, but anticipation will make it all the sweeter 🎉. Wonder what the first load will be, going to be an awesome hauler especially with the Iron Trap logo! Throw on a trailer hitch and trailer and it will be perfect for some of the swap meets or treasure hunts!
Exhaust sounds fantastic! Ah, the sweet tones and lope of a hottie flathead! Well down! Love how quickly you have turned this beauty around! Looking forward to seeing what lies beneath the primer! Go Iron Trap, keep moving forward!
It sounds great! You might run into a problem of getting exhaust fumes in the back door and filling the vehicle with exhaust fumes. Any old vehicle with a rear door/s, you really should run side exit exhaust. If you must rear rear exit exhaust at least add turn downs to the pipes. It won't fix the problem but it might help. I've owned a lot of older vans and never had good luck with rear exit exhaust.
Hi Matt, how are you today? This is Eric from Oceanside California. What you should do is paint it up to match the red truck and then also get your logos put on it and use it for when you go to the parts store for any reason.
I really like this vehicle as it is such a cool looking practical machine. I also like the fact that you are cleaning up and paining the underside and the hidden stuff. For me the perfectly shitty look is very subtle in that it looks neglected but in fact there is no real rust or deterioration of the car
That’s the real secret to a perfectly shitty old vehicle! Make it look like it was kept better than it was! All the charm of an “old” barn find but drives like new!
That. add just sounds RIGHT. And it sits RIGHT, what a stance,I’m looking forward to seeing it after you remove the primer paint from the original black lacquer, it will be terrific with those baby moons and trim rings!
I've been watching for a while Matt. It just struck me. You're making the old man noises now. When you sat down on that running board, I said Haha, Matt has joined the club. Looks and sounds great brother.
After removing the primer paint it is time to put the art deco logo (colorfull) on and now you have a great shop truck. It is distinctive and rare. Speaking of shop trucks did you sell the banger shop truck I can't remember.
It's sounds awesome. As where for next year you guys should try to make a trip up to Minnesota for The Back To The 50s next summer months. And bring that panel truck and one of your Roadsters with you guys as well and bring Zephyr I would believe that you have.
Sounds good. Any loaded weight trials (engine, transmission, cement, blocks) to verify the rear axle muffler hoop? What's the next plan for Mike's cabriolet? He was hoping to drive it this year.
Another great video guys. Thanks! I'm thinking of all the great stuff y'all could deliver using the 34 Ford Sedan Delivery... pizza, tacos, chinese food, and auto parts.
You know if you wanna make a little extra cash, install a couple clamps in back and rent it out as a hearse. You know from the right angle (rear side) the back of the drip rail looks kinda like Landau bars. Just a thought.
Nicely Done Matt / Steve. It sounds "OK" Not sure what else ya could do differently to "Play" With the sound. But if that's what is good for your liking, It's Cool..... And that Flat Head...... Damn, I just love that LOOK, and do I have to say it (AGAIN)???? I Love that 34 FORD. It's Just Beautiful!!! Personally, I would Re Chrome the Bumpers and have the RED Painted in the Trim Line / Recessed areas across the width of the Bumper's. I Love the Chrome Look and I think it would look GREAT!
Can't wait to see how a good buffing takes that gray primer looking stuff off.. You can see signs where you have been rubbing it thru to original paint and Im thinking it will clean up pretty good
I saw the vid you posted on Instagram of it running, such a sweet lope to that idle. Sounds great. You have a link for those glasspacks? I want a set for mine.🔥 As for cleaning up and prepping frames, if I had the number of projects you do I believe I'd have an outdoor lift somewhere so that gritty work could be done outdoors. Nice work tho. Keeps us inspired.
@@IronTrapGarage When you start to bring out that original black paint, that will be an awesome video that I look forward to watching! You and all of your guys are so talented and knowledgeable, it is a pleasure to watch you! You have really developed a tremendous business! CONGRATS! BTW, I've got your stickers on all of my cars and recommend your channel and business to everyone I know who are car guys or looking for vintage parts!
Love that car,so I have a question, what is your thinking when you run exhaust under the tank. I have watched you for a long time. I have never seen you turn out in front of the gas tank and out the back under the frame rail…is that a style thing or just your style?
Hey Matt, I’m on the way some seem to think that you’re supposed to use Meg when you’re welding aluminum when it’s supposed to be welding that’s good on aluminum because tick doesn’t get as hot as me. I want to know why that is that I see a lot of these other guys usingwelding to do what is supposed to be set up for
Your young apprentice, is really growing up, good to see him still soaking in all the hot rod fab culture.
He’s a good one that’s for sure!
You own many cool cars and know exactly how to treat them. This is my fave of your present line up . Love the channel
Thanks for watching!
Man ! it sounds Great, i could listen to that all day
It's got that classic hot rod sound!

He can drive stick but he has a few years until he can legally drive on the road! But soon!
@ ok, I thought he was turning 16 here real soon. Thanks for the response Matt.
Nailed it. Another small victory. Good to see Evan still helping out in the shop.😊
Thanks, it's great to have him around!
I love the way the exhaust sounds, every Hot Rod needs to rumble.
Nailed it on the exhaust.
11.15 should have been the thumbnail picture!😁
Matt with a halo. Righteous!😇

Can't wait to see what it looks like with the primer off 😮
The exhaust sounds great! Sunday funday can't wait to see your new project! Cheers!
sounds good! wait till the glass blows out and you get the true sound! it will be magical!!
She's a beaut for sure! Gotta let Hot Rod Jen make her mark on it.

That sound is pure music 💓👍

Thanks! It’s been a lot of work but we’re happy with how it's turning out.
sounds great!
Hey Matt ! The new exhaust sounds incredible !
Sounds great. Would like to wake up to that every day!
You nailed it. That cam, heads, headers and glass packs make a perfect sound. Don't forget the right side tail light lens.
Lights and wiring are still on the to do list. One thing at a time.
I just love that vehicle. The choices you are making I mostly agree with. You are doing justice to that beautiful vehicle.
Sound grate looking good soon it will be going places love it Steve c from the state of Oregon USA
Thanks, Steve! We hope to have it on the road soon.

Exhaust sounds Sweet 👌Dave uk 🇬🇧
You’re pretty good at that muffler cutter, lots of practice 😄
love it!
Sweet. Let's take a ride and bring Moon!
Exhaust sounds fantastic! Ah, the sweet tones and lope of a hottie flathead! Well down! Love how quickly you have turned this beauty around! Looking forward to seeing what lies beneath the primer! Go Iron Trap, keep moving forward!
We're glad you like the sound of it!
Hey Matt & Steve, the exhaust on the '34 Sedan Delivery is SWEET! I'm really partial to the '33-'34 Fords. Excited to follow this one along.
Thanks! It’s going to be a fun one.
It sounds great!

Great job on the exhaust
Thanks! It was a lot of work, but it turned out great!
The truck is just perfect! Looks and sounds right!
We agree!
Homerun with the new dual exhaust.
love the sound!

Boy that thing sounds good.
Thanks!
Love that old flathead sound! Nice job once again.
Thanks!
That. add just sounds RIGHT. And it sits RIGHT, what a stance,I’m looking forward to seeing it after you remove the primer paint from the original black lacquer, it will be terrific with those baby moons and trim rings!

Awesome work well done sounds beautiful 👍🏼
Thanks, we appreciate it!
Great job
I've been watching for a while Matt. It just struck me. You're making the old man noises now. When you sat down on that running board, I said Haha, Matt has joined the club. Looks and sounds great brother.
Haha the age catches up quick!
Absolutly spectacular!!
Sounds great !!
Sounds and looks great 👍
New exhaust looks great, Matt! Too loud, but looks great! (Hey, I'm old. What can I tell ya?)
After removing the primer paint it is time to put the art deco logo (colorfull) on and now you have a great shop truck. It is distinctive and rare. Speaking of shop trucks did you sell the banger shop truck I can't remember.
Would love to tool around town in that.
such inspiration in these vids! keep it up boys!!!!
Thanks! We are just having fun!

Love this project!
Mint, mint, mint. 😊
Great sound and snapy ,like it ❤
Love the look,my favourite so far😊😊😊
Thanks! We're pretty happy with it too.
Sounds amazing
sounds really nice
Good video. Sounds great with mufflers. Ready for a car wash.
Love all the cars!!!!! Hot Rods are by far my favorite cars....And the Cobra's!!!!! Watch the shows all the time!!!! Thanks
Glad you like them!
One of the coolest cars in the stable.
Thanks!
My favourite of all your cars.
The wheel/tyre size combo and stance are killer. Perfect.
Thanks!

Gangster wagon, Shine hauler.
Nice work! It just keeps getting better! 👍👍
Thanks! 👍
Great sound. Makes me want to buy it.
Too bad it ain’t for sale!
*matt's muffler masters* sounds like a new side business!
Ha!

The chrome on the bumpers should come up with some elbow grease!

It will be a big transformation we think!
That sedan delivery would be a sweet road driver with a Columbia rear end in it
Yea we are leaning in that direction!
I have a stock 35 21 stud in my 36 pickup, it has headers and straight pipes , no mufflers on it ,
That's a cool setup!
NICE....
That sounds bad ass, I'd love to hear it in a driveby
Soon!
thank you1
Nice ride
Thanks! It’s gonna be a fun one to drive.
G'day Matt. Didn't know Lawrence of Arabia was in town
bad ass just a killer look love it
Thanks for watching!
That sedan delivery looks great. Pity you’ve already put the Arden in the coupe. Would be a great combo.
An Ardun belongs in a coupe or a roadster not a delivery vehicle. In my humble opinion
Dude!! Cherry bombs are older then you!!! Lol!!! I just put them on my 93 GMC p/u sounds like my high school days!!!✌️
I like it!!!!
I saw the vid you posted on Instagram of it running, such a sweet lope to that idle. Sounds great. You have a link for those glasspacks? I want a set for mine.🔥
As for cleaning up and prepping frames, if I had the number of projects you do I believe I'd have an outdoor lift somewhere so that gritty work could be done outdoors. Nice work tho. Keeps us inspired.
Just 12” cherry bombs or any glass pack resonator will sound about the same. 2” exhaust from the headers back
very very kool
Still has a way to go . A friend when he started his cuda you could hear it about 10 blocks away .
Looks and sounds GREAT! Do you plan to put your ITG logo on the sides (aged of course to match the rest of the truck?)! Great job you two! LOVE IT!
Not sure we’ll do a logo. Might leave it subtle but we have to see what is under that primer!

Safety last! Where are the safety glasses on your assistant!
I like the way she sounds
Sounds Great! What happened to the license plate?
Took it off.
Can't believe you made Steve work in his Halloween costume!😂😂😂😂 He was a sheik right👍
Ha!
Love that car,so I have a question, what is your thinking when you run exhaust under the tank. I have watched you for a long time. I have never seen you turn out in front of the gas tank and out the back under the frame rail…is that a style thing or just your style?
Depends on the car but just the style we prefer.
Yall should have put on some real crazy makeup and made a few rounds in town in the delivery, just for the Halloween holiday
Might try having the exhaust pipes exiting behind the rear tires…
They do exit behind the rear tires…
I wonder how much if any a crossover pipe would change the sound?
You need an outside lift/bay area to do undercarriage and dirty work. A place where you can use a pressure cleaner and eco friendly cleaners.
What precautions are needed to keep the exhaust away from the wood in the body?
Nothing really. Exhaust doesn’t get hot enough back there to cause a problem.
Maybe a slight chop just to the front 🤔Hot wheels used to have one called the Demon
Hey Matt, I’m on the way some seem to think that you’re supposed to use Meg when you’re welding aluminum when it’s supposed to be welding that’s good on aluminum because tick doesn’t get as hot as me. Very surprised no one commented wondering why he was dressed up early for Halloween
