@@atomicsounds6617 I'm also writing this for TheGuy-v2g. While you are right in the context that nothing should surpass the kick/snare, "-6db" is actually no longer necessary as a roof🙂. This is derived from when you used to send your song to a mastering engineer. Unless you're doing that, its completely fine to have kick/snare at 0db. Point being is that you should limit or softclip your busses(just be mindful of how hard the input is) so altogether the volume going into your master's limiter or clipper is more consistent(cleaner result). Also sidechaining(preferably sidechaining the bass frequencies at a separate length since mids and highs don't need as long of a sidechain) will prevent the overall volume level going into the master from being absolute horrendous.
