This is one of your more informative videos. Maybe because I have been wanting to do some of these. Thank you for all the info you put out there. Coast of N.C.
that was very fun to watch and a very great idea. I'm going to have to do this. Thanks Nick, I also love your personality and fun nature makes the videos super to watch.
Protip for removing stickers/labels from glass containers! use a hair dryer (a lighter works also but is more dangerous) and use it to heat up the sticker. that melts the adhesive and let's you remove it in one piece with little residue left behind. hope this helps :)
This was a little chaotic and very fun! You're so sympathetic! I recently stumbled across your videos as I'm researching for my first houseplants and subscribed immediately. Thanks a lot for your great content! :)
This is so fun! Just FYI, my monolena puts out leaves that start the size of yours and they grow to be bigger than my face... Just throwing out there that you probably won't have much time!!
Hi Nick! Those terrariums turned out really pretty! You're quite artistic. I'm glad you were able to sign a new lease, just wish you would give us a peek on YT. Guess some of us will just have to wait until you move. Thank you so much for sharing!
Ooh I love the second one it’s gorgeous the first one will be lovely too when it fills out the leaves have such a vibe going on don’t they ! Great video I really enjoyed it have a great day :)
This is such a gorgeous plant. I want one now 😊Just an FYI the Monolena will be 1-2 Feet across. You will need to replant this soon Nick. Good luck with the New Apt. It's so fun to be excited about a new place! 💚🌱ps. I think a Begonia Thelmae would look gorgeous in the other container.
11:30 I’m just staring at the paper towel roll in the back like “there’s probably 5 sheets still on that roll, just take em off now, use em later to clean up the mess, use the cardboard roll to keep the charcoal in the middle, bc that tiny pot is going to be a pain to use”
And yeah, last time I made a terrarium I should've used a lil less soil, oh well. I put a string of turtles in a terrarium and it grew like gang busters!
Love you videos!! And I feel you!! I recently moved and it took me 2 weeks to move! Only because I have a full time job and wouldn’t let no one touch my plants lmao

This is like craft-gardening with a dear fun friend… and I loved it 🌱
How did you know I have a big glass jar I need to turn into a terrarium? Thank you so much for posting this today! 💚😎💚
I have old jars too for this!
Wow, I love them! I agree about the stick, definitely the "star"!
That's creativity kicking in!
I like this kind of Nick!!!
Me too

The terrariums look beautiful! You did a good job!
I love the chaotic energy in this video!
OMG, you're moving again?!? Congratulations!
thanks! Fortunately I have a few weeks before I need to begin packing
Boyyy I’ve watched a couple of your videos and I’m totally in love with what you creat. And could you give your cat a huge hug of me she is so cute.❤️

I like to use coco coir and orchid bark and some rocks(hidden bottom layer of charcoal)to keep a natural look as the perlite tends to distract my eye
Does the charcoal help prevent mould?
I needed this. I have a plant that I think would do better in a terrarium. I want to put the plant by itself. I love this idea. Thank you!
I hoped to see a terrarium video from you soon, thanks so much!!
I highly value you’re input and it makes it even better you’re a Philly local!
Ugh yes I’m so glad you added a crystal! I was desperate for a crystal to be in there!!!❤️🔥

Yes, I love terrarium tongs/tweezers! I have straight ones and also angled ones
they're a necessity!
This is so fun! Just FYI, my monolena puts out leaves that start the size of yours and they grow to be bigger than my face... Just throwing out there that you probably won't have much time!!
Uh oh... I'll look for a bigger glass ASAP lol
Love that thanks

I've been collecting glass jars just to create terrariums ❤
ooo i definitely need to start making these! Cat proof x)
Terrariums are my favorite! I love those peperomias 🙂
Ooh I love the second one it’s gorgeous the first one will be lovely too when it fills out the leaves have such a vibe going on don’t they ! Great video I really enjoyed it have a great day :)
I wish I could send you pics of my two terrariums that I made when COVID first started during lockdown. P.S. I just love the ASMR with RePotMe bags.

Wow that’s actually genius
@@NickPileggiPlants Thank you 🥹☺️ hopefully you find it helpful in future projects.
I was thinking the same or don't cut the pot, fill it with charcoal, turn the jar upside down, hold the pot to the bottom and then flip it.
The video I needed this morning!
I have an old pot from my broken coffee maker that I'm fixing to make an terrarium.
wow that's a fun idea!
@@NickPileggiPlants omgee, thank you Nick 😊
I love the bronze lid too. I think it would look good with the “bronzie” ( is that a word?) leaf in the other terrarium as well. I’d spray paint it.
And yeah, last time I made a terrarium I should've used a lil less soil, oh well. I put a string of turtles in a terrarium and it grew like gang busters!
Looks great! I used to have a few terrariums, but then I overwatered them and all the cacti died lol. Lesson learned. Will have to try again!
Hi Nick!! Been Watching you forever!! Great job!! 👍 love your videos
Thanks Marie!
What do you do about the green funk that starts growing on the inside of the glass where the sun hits the soil?
You can pick up some springtails if youre interested in a bioactive set up!
Great job!
Great video please update! Wanna see how they turn out. You making me want to try something now lol 😆
Can I use aquarium charcoal? The second one is really nice. The stick does it !
Absolutely! And thank you!
Love you videos!! And I feel you!! I recently moved and it took me 2 weeks to move! Only because I have a full time job and wouldn’t let no one touch my plants lmao
WD-40 is amazing at removing stickers from glass 🥂
How are they doing??

The Urban Nemophilist is great too!😊
Another great one is Biotope Gallery
@@jadeivy32 Yes, I agree. Another great one is NATURALLPOT
thanks for the recommendations!
@@NickPileggiPlants Michikusa is another one. Okay I will stop now!!
Do you leave the lids on all the time? I tried making a terrarium but it got mouldy after about a month. Should I be poking holes in the lids?
I let them air out for a couple minutes a few times a week, if they are a little too moist on the inside
@@NickPileggiPlants Thank you!
💚💚
I'm never paying what they want for a Thai constellation and I want one bad but the price got me messed up
Is that island custom made?
It came with the apartment; I rent
@@NickPileggiPlants oh copy. Thanks for replying!
