Fun fact: Despite seeing herself above the people of Lothal, Tua genuinely believed that the empire was good and was one of the few Imps that used her power to help people (like setting up affordable housing).
The illusion of the "Empire" Yes. Most Imperials believed he/she they were doing the right thing.
In fact I started to think that only few imperials, in particular the elites, were evil. The Empire wasn't that simple as "everyone evil". The empire was a complex reality, mainly controlled by evil people.
@@nicolaridolfi6510 apparently, the officer corps (even the low-ranking ones on cruisers) were full of ladder-climbers willing to do whatever it took. Take moustachioed Imperial Officer from s1 and 2, for example.

It also plays briefly in Solo if i remember correctly as propaganda music when Solo joins up with the Empire when escaping Corellia.

It's like how in TCW all of Mandalore's citizens are all the same dude and dudette copied 20 times. Saves on budget.

Honestly, i'm glad that in some moments of Rebels and The mandalorian they show a more....human face of the Empire.

Opinion Impopular: es una pena que la Ministra Tua hubiera muerto.
Ya lo expliqué en otro video, pero lo diré de nuevo; me hubiera gustado que sobreviviera a los eventos de Siege Of Lothal en lugar de morir sin pena ni gloria. Sí querían usar a un imperial qué cambiara de bando y se uniera a la Rebelión, Maketh Tua hubiera sido la indicada perfecta sí tan sólo Filoni y los escritores se hubieran tomado la molestia de hacer algo interesante con ella, pero no fue así.
@@facundopollacino7956 Probablemente no querían complicar demasiado la siguiente historia, con un personaje que había sido leal al Imperio ahora alineado con la Rebelión.
También es cierto que los buenos imperiales aparecen muy poco en los productos ahora canónicos, mientras que en la UE, que ya no es canónica, había políticos y soldados imperiales más bien intencionados e incluso honorables con sus enemigos.
@@Toshiro93 algunos fueron mejores qué otros, cómo Gilad Pellaeon, Gara Pethotel, Teren Rogriss y muchos más. Legends podrá haber tenido defectos, pero al menos nos entregó una gran variedad de personajes imperiales. Había de todo tipo de personalidades: los enemigos con honor, los ambiciosos y traicioneros, los desertores y los leales. Incluso los señores de la guerra cómo Zsinj fueron el epítome de "voy a ser mi propio jefe" hechos persona, demostrando qué no todos eran ciegamente leales a la visión de Palpatine.
En el Canon, no hay tanta variedad de imperiales en cuánto a personalidad. Todos son nazis caricaturiscamente malvados y ciegamente leales a Palpatine sólo porqué sí, llegando a obedecer la Operación Ceniza (algo qué odio rotundamente por muchas razones). Incluso los desertores no son tan interesantes cómo personajes. La mayor parte del tiempo son sólo personajes secundarios qué no tienen tiempo para brillar y un desarrollo de personaje reales.
Cuándo el agente Kallus (quién estaba lejos de ser un gran villano, y en realidad sufrió más derrotas qué victorias en su tiempo cómo villano) abandonó al Imperio y se unió a la Rebelión, al principio pensé qué harían algo interesante con él, pero se convirtió en un personaje de fondo y no hizo nada interesante en la última temporada. Su "redención" y su cambió de bando no se manejaron bien, además de no tener tiempo para brillar. Fue simplemente una mala escritura.
Insisto en qué Tua pudo romper el Status Quo y ofrecer cosas interesantes sobre la mesa, al mismo tiempo qué era desarrollada y profundizada cómo personaje.

this is one of the only episodes of rebels that felt like a genuine contribution to the star wars saga. mostly because it fleshes out what life is like under imperial rule and the rebels had an actual plan instead of relying on wacky shenanigans

Empire day is the most tragic day for the rebellion and the republic. Well, only for the rebellion and the republic. If you are from the rebellion, you will have one feeling, and if you're from the empire, you will have completely different feeling.
