>Feed the monkey >You have a *greedy* little monkey you must feed. >She's only *gobbled* half of your *large banana* >Please help her to *swallow* the *whole thing*
Just wanna draw draw attention to an odd, unrelated thing here. But after the first attempt, when removing the pegs. It is remarked how satisfying it is to insert and remove the pegs, the size, the shape, the material. It kinda popped in my head that this process has some similarities to loading and unloading munitions. Just an odd observation.
@Erin Johnston Never had the feeling when you look at something and you "know" instantly how to do it? It is called experience... And as I compliment the solution of the puzzle you should be able to notice that that part of the puzzle did surprise me. But feel free in not beleving there are people in the world who do have some knowledge of puzzles..
You're very good at describing these puzzles. I think I almost figured it out before you could get to the trick but awesome video man, keep them coming. I love finding new puzzles.
This is a type of puzzle, which i solved today. I have a wristwatch. The puzzle in this version is seemingly simple/easy, but it can be more difficult. In wristwatch, there is day counter (standard 31 days). it resets mechanically every 24 hours (day counter moves automatically +1 to next day.) A month has 29-31 days, according to month. If the day timer (revolver) rolls automatically, usually, the next 1st day of the month is wrong. If a month has 30 days, the day timer rolls mechanically to 31 day, when it should be 30th day. How can we keep the day counter right through the whole year. This puzzle may have many solutions. My solution: I calibrate the day counter manually to 1st day every 1st day of the month (-1 or -2 rounds usually). With this techinque, you can recalibrate to 1st day with a revolver of any number (for instance, 60 numbers). The rule is, that the timer must have 31 days of numbers (31 numbers) minimum, which is the maximum number of days in our calendar. This is also a puzzle type and has many applications. REV. 22:13 Rev. 22:13 yI am the Alpha and the Omega, zthe first and the last, athe beginning and the end.”

I remember a gag manga about a japanese baseball team who found a gorilla to be their batter tried giving him bananas, guy got smash flat. Turns out he eats the exact same steak you desired.
I think. having seen the mechanism. You are supposed to feed it 6 sticks. Rattle the 7th into the slot, then load behind it for the next 4, then can relax and just drop the rest in. Although then you also have to muck about with two stable options. You might want to experiment
The little cut out or hole their called key'd torque bits generally I've seen those on expensive rims so their not stolen easily or you can just buy them but the pins are easy to break off with a hammer and screw driver 😂
it's somewhat simpler than I thought it would have been. Personally, I would have made a channel fitting only one piece, but somewhere in the center, so you'd have to stack like half the short pieces in, before you could easily access the secret channel. Probably even make several. One that has to go down, the other up. etc.
the prices ive seen for this are exorbitant given the simplicity of the construction. I am surprised a more budget friendly version is not available. I'd like to see the designers license this puzzle to a larger company to manufacture it in returnfor a percentage of future profits on the sales of this item. Semms like a puzzle that would quickly become a classic if only the designers recognized the full ptential of this product. Other names and themes could be "feed the subs where the brass "bananas were made of plastic with steel weights on the inside so images of submarine sandwiches could be applied to the pieces that fit inside. Just an idea, Mr. Puzzle ur one of my favorite youtube channels. Your really are calming for me to watch/listen to as you seem so happy while solving puzzles,. I love the explainations you give on the process you use to solve them and when you take them on purpose or not. :-) Ireally enjoyed seeing how you helped Chris Ramsey put excalibur backtogether for his final solve. Would love to see you guys do a collab sove of a puzzle where ut's sequential discovery and you each solve a step and ship it back and forth until one of you takes the final step to solve it. I think at the very least it would make an interesting collaboration.

as satisfying as a finely machined metal puzzle.
That is a wonderful puzzle. The materials and precision are fantastic. The packaging is fun. The concept and solution are very very cool. Great stuff.

Yes. When i was solving Hanayama Enigma, which took me a month, i thought i would see what he had to say about it pre solution.

It's like loading a shotgun or an old lever action rifle, oddly satisfying
This puzzle would drive me bananas.
By seeing the sticks, I instantly knew in which way the solution had to go. The diagonal spare in the cap, however, is very genius.
Your pfp leads me to believe this is worthy of an r/iamverysmart entry. Tell me, do you own a fedora and sword?

You can disguise it in a banana bag, but literally no one is fooled lol.

Use the long stick to push the small pieces in ;) very nice puzzle
I heard that same sound that’s in the opening when I was driving through downtown Detroit on a road trip. Where did you get that sound sample?

Not by a longshot. Problem is it is such a niche market, so low volume. This can easily be mass produced in a China for a LOT less

Rich Staples` it’s pretty affordable for what it is. Custom machining is not priced like injection molded plastic.
You should decrease the rating to 1 not increase to 3 because you were able to figure it out without understanding it completely.
