I could, but makeup is a little different...hair is like...you can mess your shit up. Makeup. It's down to preference more often than "right or wrong" NGL. The first time I saw E-girl, or the ones where they try to look like cartoon characters, I went up to my daughter and asked, "What IS this?! I don't understand!" 🤣

Great tutorial! That MAC pallet added to cart! I’ve been eyeing Nikki BK beauty brush set since it launched. It’s on my list so I will definitely purchase them at some point. Omg that it such a good way to use the DM pallet among the million of other ways to use. I’ll half to give this a try. I love love that pallet. Givenchy powder yes mam! I also ways forget to underline my brows with concealer, and set my eyelids with anything and regret it daily. I also forget to use eye shadow primer. I would prefer the concealer/ powder application. I feel like it would fit more into my routine! But powder the brows. Ok I’ll half to check that out! Agreed powder is everything and I’m a dry skin girlie. I really want to be the girl who does the lower lash line but I just can’t figure it out. Love a Smith eye brush!I was introduced to you during your error of not buying makeup! I agreed and understood. But I’m glad to see you’ve found product worth buying and are enjoying it again. First of all. Heyy. Congrats on your baby. Glad to hear you pushed through these past two years.
Second of all. Yesss. Makeup releases this past year were boring.
But, drugstore has been upping their game. Everyone for the most part is helping eachother to not buy crap.
I cant believe I am 45 and saying I feel like my skin is dryer too. I used to have the oiliest combo skin ever. But, in the last 4-5 years I have been dealing with a lot of excema like dryness. It ain't cute. So I had to up my skincare game with oils, serums and lots of moisturizer.
I feel a lot of drugstore is being overlooked. Essence makes incredible kohl pencils in a variety of shades. The stay and play to be exact. Essence lash princess mascara now comes in brown and Essence has a lash primer. Covergirl makes a good serum liner in black and brown. It works real good. I still love my wet n wild kohl pencils.
High-end: I have been loving One size beauty. I tried a lot of the products and they are phenomenal.
Charlotte tilbury makes a great setting spray.
Makeup forever pore minimizing primer is amazing.
Danessa myricks liquid eyeshadow are great.
Tarte Camera splashes is a great water proof mascara
Fenty pro'filtr loose setting powder in butter is great at setting my UD primer potion.
I use color pop cream to powder in drop of a hat for my blush and set with Essence baked blush. I even use the color pop blush on my eyes to get my eyeshadow to stick to my hooded eyelids.
The one size visionary palette is amazing. The OS mascara is great. You need to use it a bit to really appreciate the formula.
Anastasia dip brow pomade is amazing.
Maybelline lifter glosses are so nourishing on the lips.
The Essence lip care products are so hydrating.
I cant think of anything else. I hope you find what you are looking for. ❤❤❤❤❤

Have you tried the mixing pigments from LA Girl? This way you can lighten or warm up a foundation as needed? They have white to lighten or blue to make it more cool toned.

I used to have some from Face Atelier but the issue is sometimes they change the formulation of the foundation...but im not opposed to trying it again :)
Very hooded eyes here, and I've tried the Color Fix, not great for staying put. The best I have found is the Laura Mercier Caviar stick in Au Natural. Sells out all the time.

I followed along with this tutorial and loved how it turned out! I recently discovered I have hooded eyes and it's great you went into detail on how to properly define them. Laura Mercier caviar tight line eyeliner in Cocoa is a red brown color. Also Sephora collection has some good eyeliner options that are waterproof

Hmmm…could you break it up into categories and share what brushes you use for which application? Like powder, foundation, concealer, bottom of the lash line, etc, and show your favorites? Really the Nikki la rose dual one is throwing me off and I’d love to figure out how to use it. The BK 101 I also got and am intimidated by. The hot and flashy eye brushes I can figure out, but the concealer brush? I usually use a sponge with concealer so using a brush isn’t something I’m familiar with.
Or could you do alternative uses for the brushes? Like you’re “supposed to” use it for eye blending but you’ve found it’s a great highlighter brush? Or a contour brush you found applies blush well? I don’t know…just thinking outside of the box with brushes we may already have?

I’m not a makeup artist, not even close 😂 and I still like having different color foundations. I don’t know how people only have 1 color year round. Maybe it’s because I live in MN and don’t get outside or see the sun for many months in the winter. 😂😂😂 I must have a winter and summer shade that I can mix in spring/ fall.
PS I have 2 boys, and yes they growled. So cute and funny when they did it.

Whitney my dear. You're a mom. Things happen and you move on. There are only finite minutes we get to use to learn our way. Be you. I tried to find that eye shine places other than a makeup box ( im assuming its a subscription ) and ebay or holse global. Its up to you whether or not you take that path.
