There is quite a bit of material online regarding this issue and I am convinced Freightliner knows about it by now. I wonder what it takes for such a big company to recognize and address such a dangerous flaw in their equipment... maybe a lawsuit?

Hey brother does it show you red engine lights and did your def lights been red this is what happened to me and i deleted my def long time ago but it goes away in 5 seconds scares shit out of me
@abdiqaniadan2349 yeah, it happened to me 2 or 3 times, real quick, but scary as hell. When I took old one apart you could see a "water trail" on inside on the electrical board. Hope this helps you bro, be safe!

To be honest, I didn't notice the DEF lights, but pretty much whole dash lit up...

@abdiqaniadan2349 btw, when I put on new one I covered all the contacts and the seams with dielectric grease just to be safe.
