Such a good amp, but a corny sales pitch. It's okay because it works well.
I hope I win the Strangest Place to play your Bass haha

I noticed that the compressor light never turned orange, which according to the manual indicates that the compressor is actually compressing. On my LWA 1000, the signal gets clipped as soon as the compressor light turns orange.

      What about the head today????

@@pablomartinez598 I don't know if this amp is still in production. Mine is labelled differently. The LED's next to the gain knobs are marked O/L, which would lead you to believe that it means "overload." So, for some years, I never turned up the gain very far, making these 1000 watts sound anemic . To make up for the low gain, I used to use the compressor, but it would clip before I could get a good level. Eventually, I discovered the gain LED has two colours. The first colour is merely a signal indicator. The second colour is the actual the overload indicator. This was not in the owner's manual. Now I can get a fuller sound and I can avoid the compressor problem. The key is to crank up the input gain, and keep the compressor off or well below 12 o'clock.

@@pablomartinez598 Aside from the annoying clipping in the compressor, it's ok. It has been reliable and it has lots of power. As for sound, it doesn't really have a personality. It's a really clean amp. (Even the fan is dead silent.) So if you're into heavy distortion or fuzzy warm tube sounds, you will not get that from this amp. However, the bottom end really does sound like a big tube amp - a weight that surrounds you, unlike most solid state amps. The main caveat about the sound is the top end. The inputs were designed for active basses and/or buffered pedals. If you plug in a passive bass directly, the pickups will sound quite dull and the EQ won't help you much. But if you go through any kind of buffered pedal (not "true bypass"), even just a tuner, it will sound better. So, am I happy with it? Well, once I got over my initial disappointment and figured out the mislabelled LED's and the errors in the owner's manual, it eventually gained my grudging respect.

question, when Warwick recorded this, what microphones did they use and which position had the microphones been put and, did they mix the DI signal with the cab recordings for the final things we heard in this video?

Thanks for watching. We recorded the video around 6 years back. I have no idea about microphones and how the video and audio guys recorded. I'm sorry to have no answer ;-)
