Actually, contrary to what you might expect, the color orange was named after the fruit, not the other way around. So people who live in a colorless world wouldn't have any reason to call the fruit by a different name.
27:10 I just noticed, when Isa is laughing at Siffrin’s pun, the back of his throat looks like a little heart in his mouth
that’s very cute
So I'm only a few minutes in, but the Papier Maché gloves only change Isa's basic attack to Paper. That means you can use his basic attack as paper and still use his Craft skills for Rock damage
Yeah!!! Like I truly think the papier maché hands are the best equipable item in this game because of how much they help with jackpot points!
“Even eating your favorite food forever would get old eventually”
oh the foreshadowing of it all
They missed that Siffrin wasn’t surprised by the photo! :,(
It matters to find potions after you hit a dead end because you can still go back and save, preserving your experience and potions for the next time you loop to that save point. If I understand correctly.
Aw yeah, just when I needed something to watch while eating dinner, perfect timing.
32:57 As a Swirl W@tch player, I must say that this is a big " *LIDAR noises intensify* " moment. Not telling your buddies about your powers is a dangerous gamble ;)
You never know when you might get comfortable and then hear sudden *!*
I feel quite acknowledged in that you made note of my 'why not use use support abilities' comment.
As long as your choice isn't rooted in of dismissal of some kind, I fully respect it. _Most_ of the fights are, indeed, short and easy.
Except the bomb one. I hate the bomb. >_>
And of course the crew have a a concept of what oranges are. It's a fruit, duh. ;P
The fruit wasn't named after the color, sillies.
"orange," the color, was named that here _because_ it's the color of oranges~
Most cultures from earlier times called or still call the color yellow-red, essentially, with no unique word for it.
And the fruit's names? French: pomme d'orange- after a city's name- and I'm pretty sure Spanish's naranja was derived from that, too.
also colors DID exist at some point canonically so
Illicit Pottery is the name of my next band.
y'all immediately taking off the paper mache hands hurt my heart a little 😭they're def not necessary lol I just never even considered taking them off (++ they ARE really good, they only change Isabeau's basic attack so he still has 2 rock attacks that don't take long to regen. Meaning everyone has the ability to use paper, therefore it's a lot easier to hit jackpot with it) Sure y'all either know this by now (or it doesn't matter lol) I just had a weird instinctual reaction to that
I was like nooooooo
So many lore titbits!
I wonder if Siffrin's cloak related to the king since he was mentioned to be a strong crafter, maybe they'd be related? But since that's the first connection you'd make and it would be rather cliche, I doubt the writers will go that way, they are better than this!
yeeay hyped for this episode thanks guys!
clementines and tangerines are both mandarin oranges. so oranges. =ᴗ=
