"As for your brother, I found him to be quite amusing. How interesting that offspring can be so dissimilar." Not even Asphodel can produce burns that severe
There's one dialogue you missed and it's what Chronos says about Zagreus and .... it foreshadows what he was doing to our boi during his pass time of redecorating the house of hades.
@mr.toastable672 He says "Although, your brother... he was not so fortunate. You too shall break however... soon enough." meaning he's been torturing him all this time while we make our way towards Chronos.
@@ryzacobalion3622 I think the most terrifying part of that is not the torture - I mean that's horrifying in itself - but that he succeeded in "breaking" Zagreus, I mean what does that exactly mean, has Zag simply given up... or did Chronos through torture manage to turn him around to "his way of thinking"... Will we have to face a brainwashed or otherwise Zag as a boss?
@J.G.H. Either scenario would be horrifying. And it would make sense since the early access ends once we enter his room. And since Zagreus can die and revive repeatedly, Chronos probably put him in worse position then what Prometheus went through during his imprisonment in greek myth.
I really really really really miss Zagreus (Prince of the Underworld and youngest son of Hades and Persephone). I see all the Olympian deities talking about Zagreus, which means he'll be fine with his mother Persephone and the others. Also, I believe in the Olympian deities just said. Because they have been helping Zagreus all this time. That means Zagreus is still alive with his mother and the others.
He's a god, so he pretty much cannot die in a permanent fashion. In myth, Chronos was the closest thing to being perma-dead after being defeated by Hades+half the olympians and having his body parts scattered, and this entire game's premise is that he came back after his "timeout" to enact vengeance (along the usual mad 'taking over the world' goal). So yes, Zagreus is definitely alive. Now, lets hope he's alive *and well* ...but if not, eh, Melinoe can probably fix it.
0:32 that so much like Hades to say that...and why he have the sweetness his brothers and father lack, he really care for his family, even his father.(yeah when they face in the flashback he isnt scare of him, he even dare chronos to kill him, no he is conflicted, both happy to see him, but afraid of what his vengance would mean for those he care for. Hades is no fool as u all probly already know by now playing the first game. god i love his more openly caring self.
I want to free zagreus and play as him again man. I think that would be kratos getting the blades of chaos level of surprise and would be foookin amazing
I hope Artemis can teach Melinoe and Zagreus about hunting because I want to make sure that Artemis can make Melinoe and Zagreus realize their true self that they are the Princess and Prince of Underworld and the children of Hades and Persephone. Also, I hope Artemis can protect Melinoe and Zagreus.
Feels less like a diss and more of an observation Zag and Mel are pretty different from one another. Although they do seem to be a bit more strict with Mel but to be fair they're dealing with half of their family being kidnap, taking partial blame for that happening.
Maybe because they're quite different. Zagreus' journey was a form of protest, in the beginning of the game he felt like a rebellious teen wishing to escape Tartarus. Then he found out about his real mother - and set a goal to find her. But all those times he had a home, a place he could always return to, he even had Nyx as a caring adoptive mother. Melinoe, on the other hand, grew in hiding and despite some amount of childish joy she had experienced, ultimately she was raised into an avenger with a sole purpose of foiling Chronos. Her surroundings were a lot more harsh and gloomy than those of Zagreus, and where her brother was allowed to be childish, cocky or simply open-minded and curious, she is deprived of such opportunity.
A part of me honeslty wonders if later on well see Zagreus again, but being forced by Chronos to figh Melione... wich would be really interesting to see the God of Blood in action without his infernal arms.
If Zagreus was reincarnated as Dionysus in the Orphic Hymns, I would find a way to kill Dionysus the alcohol fanatic, take his heart, and then bring Zagreus back. And if I was a Male God of Resurrection, I would bring back Melinoe and Zagreus to ensure that they were the children of Hades and Persephone. As a result, Melinoe will become the Princess of the Underworld as the student girl of Hecate as the Goddess of Ghosts and Mist, and Zagreus will become the Prince of the Underworld as the student boy of Artemis as the God of Hunting and Darkness. Zeus needs charity and temperance because he needs to learn generosity, abstention, and self-control to stop acting greedily and selfishly, and to stop committing adultery. As for Hera, she needs patience and compassion because she needs to learn to be calm, forgiveness, and kindness, and that is the only way she won't hurt Zeus and his affairs.
Because I don't want Zagreus to get involved with that stupid Orphic Hymns. Anyway, you can go Google, find Daemon Physiology, and then you can see all the minor deities but don't look at Zagreus because the Orphic Hymns are still lying and deceiving him in there. In addition, as the daughter of Hades and Persephone and the Princess of the Underworld, I want Melinoe to be the student of Hecate as Goddess of Ghosts and Mist. Moreover, as the son of Hades and Persephone and the Prince of the Underworld, I want Zagreus to be the student of Artemis as God of Hunting and Darkness. Don't listen to what the Orphic Hymns say because it's falsehood.
If we don’t fight zag at some point I’m going to be genuinely disappointed And that doubles with a possible character swap mechanic later in the game where you get to fight mel as zag
If Zeus is Persephone's father and he agrees to let Hades kidnap Persephone to be his wife as Queen of the Underworld. That means Melinoe and Zagreus are children of Hades as Princess and Prince of the Underworld.
