What is the QDRO process?

I’m divorced already and the decree stipulates that I receive his some of his military pension, Exxon retirement and Formosa pension. I didn’t know about QDRO until about a month ago when I started looking into receiving the military pension, therefore, none was ever done. Where do I go from here? DFAS is requesting that the decree be more specific about the military percentage that I’m entitled to. I need help!

My question is I have several QDRO they are like 10 years old they were done by my attorney filed with the court & sent to the administators but I haven't heard anything or received any money when will I receive my money I always thought that I would need to wait until he retired before I received my money but now Im not sure should I have done something

My soon to be ex and myself are working on a dissolution and we each have comparable retirements….if I want to keep my house…can a QDRO be put in place to allow me to use a portion of my retirement to buy her out of her equity. Just a portion as basically we each have about the same amount and both work for the same employer.

Does my ex-wife start collecting her entitled benefits/pay as soon as I enter the Florida DROP or after I complete it and stop working?
(There is no QDRO filed at this point and our divorce decree only states that she is entitled to 50% of what I have earned during the time we were married and working for the sheriffs office. The divorce decree does not state anything about my DROP)
