I'm thinking that with the new look, she wanted to adopt a new name to kind of transition to this new identity of sorts? That's my guess. I noticed that a performance of hers on the Wish Bus, back before the surgeries, and when her name was Mary Gidget, is no longer available on the Wish Bus youtube channel. Maybe it was removed due to copyright, but maybe it was removed by request to help transition to this new identity. Who knows. Her voice and ability to mimic Hayely Williams (lead singer of Parmore) vocal style is really impressive.
