I have met a young couple in Thailand recently. They were from US and flow to Singapore and they were traveling from Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand and then to Cambodia and Vietnam and before going back to US. We have happened to have a casual friendly conversation and I have asked them since they are so near to China, why not go to China just for a few days to see China. I told them China is very interesting. But I was surprised of what they told me. They said according to all their media reports in US and advice by their government and many other people. They were advice and told not to travel to China. Even their parents don't allow them to go to China. They were told China is not a safe country to travel. Very dirty, poor rundown infrastructures, poor transportation system, polluted, homeless people are everywhere waiting to rob tourists are common even in broad daylight. Chances of been detained for no reason by the Communist government is very high. Because China is an authoritarian state and all foreign visitors are monitored by thousands of cameras everywhere and every minute where foreign visitors go. Foreign visitors from western countries can be detained for months or even years for no reason. All these is what they know about China. The couple is like below 25 years of age and already so badly brainwashed by their government and controlled media. This is really sad.
There are many people in Germany and Canada where I can speak for, that still believe in almost everything that our MSM publishes as the Gospel. Freedom is expansive, and I wonder how can you have freedom, when you are not sure how to pay your Rent, Heating, transport, Food, Healthcare, or even to buy your own house ? To have access to Cannabis and other Opioids, Gender Chance, and mindless Super Hero Entertainment has anything to do with freedom ?
China is now the World Economic Leader, with a believable Softpower for the Global South. BRICS means continuous innovation, amazing construction of modern infrastructure for the age of multipolarism. The west is in decline. Greatings from Canada.
