Let's get hyped for Season 2!! We're aware the subs weren't perfect and from Episode 4 we'll try switching to a different site😅 P.S THAT ENDING SONG IS FIRE🤯
I can't with these subs... 15:09 Kindaichi says he also *READ* the original work, not watched the anime adaptation. It makes him come off as more inconsiderate of the original work which we know is a manga if he's making decisions for the play based on the anime adaptation. There's so many other issues with the translation earlier in the episode as well but I just had to say something when I clearly heard Kindaichi say "read" instead of "watch". The switch to other subtitles cannot come fast enough.
For correction for the poor subs Kana's character is called Tsurugi not Shuriken, and the guy who played in Sweet Today is Narumiya Melt not Narumiya Aiyu, please consider changing the site you're watching this because who knows how much mistranslation there could be those two are just the most noticable ones
I also noticed that with some of Akane's entonation being taken away. It's like, in this one they are providing you with the raw information, but with much less emotion
For the record, 2.5D play is any play adaptation of a 2D media (as in otaku stuff), manga, anime, light novels, games, etc. Because real life, actual movies and theater (as in "real" theater shake-spear broadway and stuff) are 3D, so if you bring something 2D in the 3D world it’s 2.5D kinda. The scene being very technological with screen and stuff isn’t because it’s 2.5D it’s exceptional even for a 2.5D play, but based on a real life stage that existed. It’s called ihi stage around tokyo and had a final fantasy X stage play for example.
bro this season is even better, I love it. And like in the first season, when you start to hear the ending song, they manage to always drop a fkn bomb cliffhanger just like aot, it's amazing
I was fortunate as a kid to see Hal Holbrook on Broadway in Man of La Mancha and to see him transform from small dumpy Cervantes to tall gaunt Don Quixote while talking on stage was astounding. So seeing a track suited stubble face eyeglasses wearer to the dashing swordsman is the same bit of magic.
Season 2 is so good, even compared to season 1. You probably already watched it, but the OP and ED have no real spoilers, just some hints if you know whats coming. They even change the ED a bit after there's a big reveal
This season is insane all kinds of nuance of the entertainment industry, charchter development, and big reveals this season has everything get ready for it.
Season 2 of Oshi No Ko anime is way better to me, than Season 1. Favorite moment of this episode? 7:30 Taiki Himekawa is a man very interesting to me. Seems timid and shy, but when he plays a role, he completely becomes a character he should be playing. 😂 And brings the best out of Arima Kana it seems like.❤ Great reaction!😃
Season 2 is FIRE! Also side note, I am not a native japananese but those subs seems quite different from the ones that are more widely spread for this season
I do love this arc and more of the juicy inside scoop on the industry. My only complaint with this season is that because Kana is on the cast it cuts into our B (Komachi) plots.
There is a psycologist that makes great reactions of this anime, he says that although Aqua has his past memories, theoretically from what we know of brain development, his mental age is the same as his body, so saying that he should be more mature than the rest isn't exactly right. Of course I can't explain it as good as him, but my point is that we should stop judging him as a 40ish year old. Just to understand more Aqua's actions and thought process the psycologist chanell is Psyculturists, I highly recommend it, his videos are wayyyy long, but very insightful
He has the past experience and wisdom of 30ish years of life. His mental age is definitely not that of a 16 year old. They even make the point several times in the show of characters commenting on how he acts like an older man
@@Dracossack. As I said, I can't explain it as good as he has, I'm no close to a professional, but basically, is trying to explain certain characteristics, sure, he says "say cheese" or is old fashion in dates, but when it comes to how he acts to the death of his mom, or how he is still clueless in some aspects, and in general doesn't act like an adult, I mean, he has a lot of mannerisms and attitude like the rest of his friends. We do have people commenting on him being mature but we also have Aqua himself say his mind changed while he grew and each year he was less his past self and more his present. I truly recommend his videos they are sooo interesting, but they are long, so I understand if you get discourage. I just find fasinating how accurate to real human psycology the story it is
@@tesshh1I’ve seen that guy’s videos. They are way too long and rambling for my taste. I understand that Aqua’s physical brain chemistry has an impact on how his past memories influence him, you’re right he does mention that, but I think what you are saying is far too reductionist. If his past life isn’t what’s driving his actions now, this story may as well not have reincarnation at all. It’s the fact that Aqua has this continuity of experience that makes the show what it is. Being an adult in a teenager’s body is what makes him able to manipulate the other actual children around him so easily. So, I do reject this psychologist’s interpretation of his character
@@Dracossack. Experienced mecha pilot, subpar mecha. He can't bring out his full capabilities, but he can maximize what the machine he's in currently does. Plus his current state has its own benefits too even if the processing power is lower.
@@Dracossack. I never said his past experience doesn't influence him, I'm just saying he isn't mentally 30+, which is something many have problems with. It's like he is a teenager with more memories than others but still a teenager. Again, no expert, but I understand it in the reverse, if someone loses their memory as an adult they don't go back to being a baby, sure there are different (extreme) levels but most common is that at most they regress a few years of learning. So that adult has less memories than most but still functions and acts as an adult because they are. I see it as that but inverse, of course it's impossible to know which would be correct, but I find the science super interesting and personally I prefer this hypothesis since it gives me piece of mind in their relationships, not that I'm a huge shipper, but it helps not to worry about it, and also it helps to understand why sometimes he acts that way, some hold him to the standards of an adult, like his "over reaction" to his mother being killed (which I don't agree even if he were 30, but some see it as weird), when he was just a traumatised kid
Idk how far you guys got but you have a bad translation, I've seen others use it before. Kana's character, Shuriken, should be Tsurugi and Melt is somehow translated to Aiyu when even the Japanese audio clearly says Meltu. This version is a bad translation, hope you guys can change it in time. Anyway, glad for the reaction and I'm practically waiting everyday for more. EDIT: Nvm, saw the pinned comment
where are you watching this? the subtitles are really bad 😅 kana's character for example is "tsurugi", not even close to shuriken. (the are several words meaning sword in japanese, "katana", "ken", "tsurugi", "to" ect.)

Except the word changes, some names are just different😂 (who's shuriken-)
AH!! I was just abt to warn you this is the less accurate translation!! Glad you caught it and looking forward to the reactions, guys!!!
Episode 4 might be my favorite from this season. The bickering was so intense.😂

Isn't Melt's surname Narushima?
@@francobarrandeguy9453 I don't know why I think there's a y sound in his name maybe I was influenced by Aiyu lol

I am SO excited for y’all to watch this season!! I cried and also got up from my chair MULTIPLE times from the ANIMATION. Goodness it is beautiful

The ED for S2 is incredible. It reminds me of the OP for Summertime Rendering, but I'm not sure why. They might be the same key, but I'm not sure.
The ED is especially great!
You’re definitely going to love season 2

Yeah, not translating 姫 is straight-up ass.
Akane sitting down had more frames than blue lock s2 ep 2 😭
There's no way my comment is more liked than the pinned comment 💀
it's on par with Stark putting on his Jacket
Yep.

This season is so amazing. It made me read the manga. One of the best anime for sure.
S2 lets go!
oshi no ko and 86 hmm, is it my birthday or something?
season 2 goes hard yall aint ready
LET'S GO WE HAVE BEEN WAITIN!!!
Strong episode 1. Btw, the subs is a bit off, the "Tsurugi" translate as "Shuriken" and "Melt" the GOAT become "Aiyu" is a crime lol 😭😭
Season two is great, I think I prefer it over season one. Doga Koba has adapted this show greatly.
Sub: Melt (Meruto) → AIYU / Tsurugi → Shuriken
Me: hmm, for the western audience? Maybe? ok, ok
JP → Sub: キザミ役 鳴嶋メルト (16) → "18 years old"
Me: It's a tough job.
Guys you will be hyped more compare to this because last 4 ep are sooo good that's where the real game begin !!!
